Until a few weeks ago, you could only be in a group at your school, but now you can start a group with people from anywhere on facebook, which will dramatically increase the effectiveness. I have heard that facebook will allow candidates to have profiles later on this year.
Lamont wins 55%-45%, with 25-30% turnout. That night, Lieberman will announce that he will not run as and independent, and endorses Ned that night. That's probably how he got Clinton to come in for him today, promised not to run on his own (though this is a theory, I have no proof of this).
Lamont is the Junior Senator from CT next January, winning 65-35 over Schlesinger, (unless the GOP can get someone else to run, ie Shays or Johnson, who are both in tough races, though they would probably lose to Ned).
I now think that Lamont will win the primary. It was probably 50-50 before last Monday's move, but now he has alienated Democratic voters with his contempt for the small d democratic process of listening to the will of the people.
