Google some of what Hillary said about Bush after 9/11 and in the run-up to Iraq.  She worked with Gingrich on an issue that I cannot recall.  Photo ops with him and everything.

What about her flag-burning proposed amendment?  The list of her co-sponsors is a who's who of GOP senators.  She praised a lot of member of the GOP for sharing her belief that violent video games be more heavily regulated than they are now.

The point is that it doesn't matter.  So Obama praises the intangibles of a dead ex-prez?  Who cares?  And really who cares if HRC worked on anything with Gingrich?  I was just pointing out the inconsistency with what some HRC supporters are using to attack Obama.

I think that idea died with gays in the military.  he made that promise and tried to implement it and it blew up in his face.

since then, I have really never seen a president really use what he campaigned on as an effective tool to use in order to implement a policy.  remember Bush in 2000 ran AGAINST the nation-building that he embraced for Iraq.

i have no idea what you just said.  other than you sound very very angry.

it's NOT my fault that people are not buying into what Edwards is selling and that he's not catching fire like may people thought he would.

IF, and that's a big "if", Huckabee were to somehow win the nomination, the powers that be in the GOP (read:  business) will castrate his populist rhetoric and he'd run as a run-of-the-mill Republican when it comes to economic issues.

    drink more corporate Kool-Aid, bro.

But contemporarily, Bill and Hillary have praised Bush I, Bush II, Newt Gingrich, etc.

    C'mon,  there's double standards here.

with all due respect, I think you are overreacting.  they are just words.

everyone needs to calm the fuck down.

so after being savaged and motherfucked by Bill Clinton as a "fairy-tale" and by the Clinton surrogates, according to you, Obama should just kiss Bill's ass?

um, no.  It's time that people, and minorities in particular, stop kissing the ring of the powerful white males.  Fuck that shit.

you're repeating anti-obama talking points, i.e., that he has no substance, all show and no go.

that is NOT true.  he's very detailed in his positions.

people are really making too much of a big deal about what a candidate says on a campaign trail and even what tone they use.

anyone remember Bill's rhetoric from 1992?  didn't think so.

    haha.  suck up.

    just kidding. :P

  • guns isn't worth reading.  The Democratic Congress was politically tonedeaf on the issue and passed a crime bill that contained the dreaded gun control legislation in SEPTEMBER of 1994.  My god.  That would be unthinkable today.

We got killed in rural America that Novemeber and are just now recovering.

It wasn't gays, it wasn't healthcare (yeah, right, some hillbilly who NEEDS health care was all pissed and voted R to thwart his getting some coverage?  haha, c'mon, that is health care industry propaganda), and it wasn't taxes.

Guns.  Period.  And Bill wrote about it in his book.

  • >>>GOP wants Obama to run.  He's a much easier target and they are lining up lots of Chicago and lackluster US Senate material.

You lose credibility when you make carte blanche statements like that couched in opinion as fact.  Just who are you to make a blanket statement like that without backing it up with some analysis.

Who are you that people ought to listen to you?  Oh, yeah, you're a Hillbot, so logic won't sink in.

I doubt that most Democrats don't think about the slant of the paper one way or another.  Yes, junkies do, but not the vast majority.

Some single mom with two kids who is a member of the Culinary Union probably isn't too concerned about it.

However, SOME people who think Barack as too inexperienced and/or too liberal may indeed be influenced (not swayed, i doubt anyone is ever swayed by an endorsement) by the paper's editorial.

  • why don't you just give it up?
