• BO was on the ticket in FL?

    david

  • And please accuse me of disenfranchise anyone based on the nonsense you wrote.  I did no such thing.  And while you are at it please dont accuse me of being a rasist for "disenfranchise" anyone.

No where in my post did i say ANYTUNG about how the 50 state model applies to the primaries.  My statement is clear and that i dont think it applies to the president election NOT primaries.  You have pruposefullly twisted my words and that is awful conduct for which you should be ashamed of yourself.  Furthermore, BO has not PROVED anything yet and in this regard we will see.  Again you provide NO evidence for this other than "you say so" and i find that less than convincing.

McCain is not in any danger in AL, GA, TN, or the Carolinas based on any poll i have seen and again you proved ZERO evidence to justify this statement.

However, there is much evidence to suggest there is no such thing as presidential coattales and to such otherwise is again not based on any evident what so ever.

    david

  • Based on what do you make that statement.  Seriously that is nonsense.  There is no such thing as presidental coattales anymore.  These kind of statements drive me nuts.  They are based on no facts or evidence.  Show me one poll that suggests that HRC will have any effect on congress one way or another.  Just one.

    david

  • well then they will not vote for BO after the negative campaign he has run?????

    david

  • Well that is only true if you believe in the 50 state model that imho only applies to congress.  The GOP has been killing us with the 269+1 model and frankly i think that is the best model for the presidential race.

IMHO of BO it is blue states plus CO to win.  And for HRC, which is unlike but if, it is blue states plus OH.

    david

  • I agree here that there is no way clinton wins CO.  I think her campaign model to win involves OH at the expense of states like CO, NV, and maybe ever NM.

    david

  • I think that OH will be a real reach for BO and i think it very unlikely he can win that state.  HRC would have a much better chance since OHt fits her voting supporters much better.  Working folk making less than 40k and older women (PA has the second oldest population in the US).

SO if you believe that OH is unlikely for BO (IMHO I do) then the entire election is about only one state "Colorado".  Unlike OH BO does much better in CO than HRC thro why is unclear to me since it is a very moderate state and BO is pretty liberal.

If McCain underminds BO in CO it is over and he will be the pres!  We should be very thankful that Dean is in charge of the DNC and he schedule the convention for denver!!!!

    OK,

When confronted at the debate about the drudge report saying a Clinton staffer sent this to him.  What did BO, "I take HRC at her word"????  Not i am sorry i should not have taken the word of Drudge over a dem senator.  So dont start with this. His conduct was awful and consistant with the demeanging way he talks about her.  You support BO fine, but for some junior senator to talk to her that wasy is insulting.

His comment was soooo condensing it is not funny.  But that is ok.  What HRC said is exactly right and your complaint is typical for HRC haters.  You decide what she said and ment and then attach her.  NO matter what she said you would attack her.  This is classic FOX news right wing stuff.  Think about that.

    david

  • OK,

This sounds sooo similar to 1988 when dukakis was 20% ahead of bush in the polls.  BO doesn't have any more room to move up in the polls IMHO; he is where he is.  Think about the flip side.  He is relatively unknown and as such he also has plenty of room to move way down.  Think Dukakis.

He is very liberal, supports things like gay marrage and what not.  This if fine but he will need to win some midwest and mountain states to be president and those views do not go over well.

In last 45 years think of democratics that have either won the white house or the popular vote.  How would you compare BO to them.  Like them (LBJ, Carter, Clinton, Gore) or not like them (Mondale, Dukakis, Kerry)?

To use your words this seems obvious and BO supporters just cant think this might be true.

I will never vote for BO.  He and his supporters will destroy our party.  They are worse that the far right.  Either you support them or you are the enemy.  They would never vote for HRC.  And if BO loses the first thing they will do is blame HRC and anyone who supporter her.

Who cares about CA and MA the dems will win that.  How does BO get 270 electoral votes???

He must win IA, MN, NM, and WIS and that is still short of 270.  He will need to win one of ether CO, VA, or MO.  And that will be no easy task.  Finally, PA will be a tough state for BO.  It is very working class and has the 2nd highest persentage of over 65 voters.  This is two areas he has been weak in.

    david

  • I voted for Carter, Mondale, Dukakis (that one really hurt), Clinton, Gore, and that dumbass Kerry.  I am not voting for BO, period.  I will either stay home or go McCain.  And lets be frank, BO supporters weren't going to vote for HRC so why should i vote for BO.  Just another left wing NE like liberal senator.

Word.  This is something the wine and cheese NE liberal crow ddont seem to understand.  What is the defination of doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.  It is called insanity.  How many NE liberals have the dems run for presdient and won.  ZERO.

Mondale, Dukakis, and Kerry all lost and the wine and cheese crowd would suffer no one but their liberal candidate to be the nonime.  BO is really the same candidate as Kerry with better speaking skills.  But the bottom line is once you get off the coast he will have a real problem winning states.  The only dem to win the presidency in the last 30 years is named bill clinton.  Some one the wine and cheese BO surporting crowd refused to support and to this day they hate him.

And now moderate dems are once more forced to vote for the liberal wine and cheese crowd candidate and i say enough is enough.  I am staying home NOV 4th.  I have had enough and will not vote for their candidate since they NEVER support mine.

Seriously Obama's a dick.  Funny i keep hearing about how he is a transforming figure but it just looks like he is just another lying self serving politician and right now he is not my self serving politician.  I can't see any day in my life i could vote for him not now and not 10 years from now.

Funny, Drudge words have more weight than HRC.  Obama and his campaign have hit a new low.  Funny how this comes out just after the SNL "Bitch is the new Black".  Funny how that happened.  And then the BO campaign attacks Hillary without ever trying to find out if it is true.  Funny how that happened.

Funny how BO plays the race card when ever this isnt going his way.  Funny.
