Well, it's official. All of the major, declared GOP candidates, except frontrunner "None of the Above", demonstrated at their last debate that they are running against Senator Barack Obama by calling him names and questioning his judgement on foreign policy and fighting terrorism
(By the way, for those of you too young to recall, the Dr. Strangelove referred to by Romney was one of three fictional characters played brilliantly by Peter Sellers in the 1964 movie of the same name "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb". Unlike the Republican debate, it was worth seeing.)
Now, lest we forget, these are the same men who were on the cheerleading squad for President Bush's War in Iraq, and failed over the past 4 years to pressure the Administration to pursue al Qaida -- the real one hiding in the Hindu Kush mountains, not the wannabees who have rushed to the confluence of the Tigris and Euphrates to take potshots at our soldiers before blowing up their fellow Muslims. No wonder they are so excited to pounce on Senator Obama for opposing the Iraq War, promoting diplomacy and threatening to root out al Qaida.
Oh yeah, and they don't like talking to dictators -- except if its Bush with the House of Saud, whose people are still trying to kill Americans or pay others for trying, and Cheney with Musharaf, who cut a deal with the very people protecting the Taliban and al Qaida in Pakistan.
Well thank you, gentlemen for elevating Senator Obama to the status he deserves: the real opponent in the race and agent for change that Washington recognizes will shake up the old order.
