Edwards Slams Bush, McCain, champions Obama

McCain is at it again, despite being cute on Saturday Night Live, he is out there making statements again on Obama's foreign policy.

I have news for Senator Obama, talking, in unconditionally with a man who says Israel is a rotting corpse, will not get Iran to give up their Nuclear weapons program and it is reckless.

(as opposed to Bush's 'sensible' foreign policy???)

Listen to Edwards slamming Bush and McCain and showing the importance of going in a new direction with Barack Obama.

(hattip to Jed Report for the youtube video.)

John Edwards:

#1 it is beneath the dignity of the President of the United States to make these cheap political statements while in Israel celebrating their 60 years of existence.
In the History of the United States, no President , the President does not do these things.
It is amazing thing to listen to, the continuation of the fearmongering, even from 2004 when I was running as Vice President.
The 'if you elect a democrat, it is going to be a disaster in the country'
It is utter nonsense.
We know what the American people think of Bush, and what they think of this war in Iraq, and Bush's foreign policy has been a complete and utter disaster, and John McCain embraces it.
John McCain's foreign policy is identical to Bush's
.

I mean, what George Bush said, was that Democrats are talking appeasement  like with Hitler in WWII. That is a deplorable thing, especially coming from a man who has been an absolute disaster, arguably the Worst President in American History on   Foreign Policy, and John McCain defends him.

Anyone who is paying attention knows we need a change and that's what Senator Obama is gonna bring.
The American people are to have a dramatic choice this fall. If they want 4 more years of Bush, then they ought to vote for John McCain. If they think we can do better than this, they ought to vote for Barack Obama.

Thanks Senator Edwards!
Let's make the change we need in this country- Vote Obama!

This is exactly why I'd vote Dem no matter who is on the ticket. McCain will be a disaster. Can you even imagine that fool trying to talk to foreign leaders? Geezez, he's have to have Lieberman surgically implanted on his back so he'd know who he was talking to. Embarrassing to say the least.

Bush is a disgrace and McCain would be more of the same and possibly even worse.

I like it!  This is where Edwards gets to step up, as a solid Democrat, and call BULLSHIT on Bush and his dreadful legacy, the legacy that McCain would embrace.  More Edwards!  This bodes well for us in November.

Yeah, it must feel good to him to have broken free from his self-imposed silence and start digging into the Bush 2/McCain nightmare in waiting.  Let's hope he keeps their feet to the fire all the way to November.

I love seeing Edwards in his

attack dog mode.  He was my candidate and I am proud to see him defending the Democrats against the Republicans.
