Obama isn't afraid to go on FOX News, he just recognizes that the party and the cause is more important than his campaign. I think Hillary knows that too, I just think it's a sign of desperation. But it isn't a good sign. The only way to bring these ultra-conservative delusional wingnuts across the country to the realization that we are all citizens is to refuse to play their little game.
You really think George W. Bush doesn't have his hand on the wheel? We're not talking Alberto Gonzales here. I see a Bush-Mold President as being more about knowing what's going on and stubbornly following belief over reason than simple ignorance. I will not ever grant him that level of defense.
Thank her for asking for a debate on FOX News?? How about we wait for them to stop beating on us until we do that? I would be perfectly content to just keep freezing them out. If we do that, maybe people will actually watch another network.
There's no reason in the world to go on FOX News for a debate. NONE. Not in the primary, not in the general.
But in response to feeling like you might lose? I know that all men and women cry, but I can't feel sorry for that. Maybe if she hadn't been planning her move for 7 years, I'd have more sympathy.
And even if the first one WAS genuinely choking up, the second one was political. If only because she saw a bump and figured it'd be worth another shot to let herself go. Again, playing directly to people's instincts about gender roles. How far back do you think it'll take feminism if the first female president cries whenever she doesn't get her way?
Yeah. Experience and wisdom in doing exactly the kind of spin and manipulation that the country has lived with for eight years. I don't want my leaders doing that anymore. She's running a dirty campaign, and I hate that more than I can express in text.
I'm sure quite a few Obama voters stayed home, knowing their votes would not count.
Besides that, if you don't think the rules should be enforced, then why have them at all? Let's just let everyone do whatever they want. All delegates can be superdelegates. Vote for ANYONE you want without any repercussions whatsoever. You're not obligated, because, of course, there's no penalty for breaking the rules of the party.
