You said what I have wanted to say.  Bush disserves this next for years, so he can be around when all of his huge mistakes blow up in his face.  I am not hoping for something horrible to happen to America, but there needs to be an obvious sign that the war in Iraq was wrong(not that there hasn't been), and Americans will be paying for it for years.

It is confusing to see that Bush won the popular vote.  Out of all the things in life that I have seen, that have not made any since, this ranks up on the mountain top!  The first President since Hoover to have a significant job loss, the first President to go to war without being provoked, and go to war without the UN approval won a popularity contest?  He has made a mockery out of American.  We have lost so much respect and gained so many new enemies.  Can we ever recover?  Is there hope?

I know that I am going to be in therapy after this.  I have never put so much energy into anything.  Now I will just have to sit back and watch and see what happens to the America that the Bush administration has created for us.

Thanks for that analysis, and I totally agree with you.  I believe, that people are just not educated enough about the environment.  It is really scary that I am raising two sons up in a country full of people that would vote for a man like Bush.  I believe if not for 9/11 Bush would not have been reelected.  I hope he has fun in the next four years cleaning up his mess!

I am very sad for our country today.  Our hopes for a new future are gone.  I was really excited yesterday before the election, and believed that Kerry was going to win by a landslide.
I do not understand how so many people can look at our country and project that Bush should be reelected. Can someone please explain this to me!

The only explanation is that people just didn't want to ask themselves "Are we better now than we were four year ago". Maybe if they had just asked that question one time Kerry would have one by a landslide.

    GOD BLESS AMERCIA PLEASE!

  • I agree.  What is wrong with people?  I just don't see what they see. If Bush wins than I hope that I can see it or the next four years will make me crazy.

I watched the same press conference, and I thought that Laura Bush looked sad as well.  He didn't seem as confident as he once did.  I don't know if he knows but they must have a very bad feeling.  I almost felt sorry for him, but didn't.
  • That's very true, but if they do show the documentary he must confront in some way.

This is such an act of desperation it may backfire on Bush. I believe people are getting sick of these smear campaigns.  People who want to hear something negative about Kerry will love it, but we all know who they are going to vote for anyway.

Kerry needs to come out and say real issues of today are what matters the most to America.  Bush can't talk about those issues because he tries to pretend there are no issues.

I do not know the contents of this documentary so I can't say for sure of its impact, I can only guess.

What should we be afraid of with this anti Kerry documentary anyway?  The more people fight to prevent this from airing the more people are going to want to watch it, and if it is another distortion of who Kerry is it can and will do damage.  I think the best thing for all media and supporters to do is to just lay low.  Let them air it and then Kerry should do what he didn't do after the swift boat adds. FIGHT!!

I live in Iowa, people here really want change.  I do not know why it is so hard to see that Bush is wrong for our country.  Are Republicans so desperate to have a Rep in the white house they do not care who it is or what he stands for?

Bush was in Waterloo Iowa this weekend, and even though the major news channels did not cover it there where hundreds of protesters.  There have been protesters hanging on the side of the busy street corners protesting the war and Bush since last summer. Bush signs are getting torn down all over town at night. People that I talk to are very angry with this administration. I know that this is not a scientific poll but I truly believe that Kerry will win Iowa.  On the other hand I have a neighbor who asked me the other day if the elections were over yet and who won.  We have our work cut out for us.
