You posted like 40 comments yesterday, and you ask if I have a job...

    Right....

  • on a comment on MyDD's little censoring problem over 6 years ago

I've been posting less than a month, but that's irrelevant.

It's really funny that people here want me banned, and then people here whine and complain that dailykos bans them and kicks them off the site.

    Irony is thick here.

So now you want people who criticize the proprietor of the site banned? How sensitive. And you people accuse dailykos of group think.

Too funny. Start your "Ban TheBlaz" movement, I'm sure it'll gain plenty of traction and I won't be here beyond the week.

You're right, I'm definitely an asshole.

I also prefer honesty in the writings I read, and if I don't see it, GASP! I mention as much.

I understand you'll accept lies and dishonesty from those who support your candidate, and that's all well and good for you. I don't like that sort of hypocrisy.

Was at work all day, then had to go play pool in my pool league.

Next time I'll let my boss know that Mr. Beeton expects me to exhibit a little more timeliness in my liberal blog postings.

    Milk this?

I posted it on DailyKos last night.

People there criticized me for not posting it here, not knowing I already posted my diary yesterday.

Now, I post it here because it does deal with MyDD.

Sorry if it bothers you to see certain people's actions criticized.

Funny thing is, apparently people believe it worth reading and recommending.

Message received? Funny thing is Jerome hasn't change his diary and hasn't admitted wrong doing, so apparently message NOT received. His FP post still has the same disingenuous message about Obama campaigning in Florida, and it still has the same flimsy rationalization it did yesterday.

You make sure to let me know when the message has REALLY been received, will you?

  • on a comment on MyDD's little censoring problem over 6 years ago

As I said (perhaps you missed it), whenever a liberal blogger behaves as Jerome did, as dishonestly as he did, we should ALL be willing to speak against it.

If we don't, can we really criticize the traditional media for their lapses in truth?

Understand my point now? Or should I say it again, in different words?

  • on a comment on MyDD's little censoring problem over 6 years ago

First off, kos being fair or not has NO bearing on Jerome's actions. So, stay on topic if you possibly can.

Or keep throwing up non sequiturs, if it pleases you.

I notice you haven't addressed my points in the diary. I'm certain THAT'S deliberate.

And frankly, YES kos has been fair. He's given it to BOTH candidate based on their actions, and when proven wrong he's ADMITTED it.

    Unlike Jerome.

But that doesn't fit into your "Kos is evil because he hates hillary" feelings, so I doubt you'll respond to this with anything resembling logic or intelligence.

  • on a comment on MyDD's little censoring problem over 6 years ago

Yeah, it'd suck to have a diary showing MyDD's owner's bullshit for all to see, wouldn't it.

You should totally email jerome and tell him he'd better hustle on over here and suppress this diary, too.

    Quick, before it's too late!

  • on a comment on MyDD's little censoring problem over 6 years ago

    Hehe.

I'm really not trying to start a blog battle.

My main beef is that we, as liberal bloggers, routinely take the traditional media to task for sloppy reporting and bullshit.

Here we have Jerome not only being sloppy, but being extremely dishonest with his rationalizations AND with him removing a recommended diary from the list SOLELY because it called him out on his bullshit.

I think we need to stand against such crap no matter WHO does it.

  • comment on a post MyDD's little censoring problem over 6 years ago

Wow, this made the Rec list.

How long before this one gets suppressed, too?

  • on a comment on MyDD's little censoring problem over 6 years ago

    Exactly.

Diaries that wouldn't get CLOSE to passing the Glance Test on DailyKos rocket to the rec list here.

It goes beyond which candidate each site prefers, and it felves into which site is most willing to overlook lies and bullshit.

MyDD is winning that contest, no question.

  • on a comment on MyDD's little censoring problem over 6 years ago

Asking for a retraction and a change of title is somehow a personal attack?

    That is, frankly, bullshit.

If Jerome is so freakin' sensitive that asking for a retraction of a MISLEADING and DISINGENUOUS Front Page post is a personal attack, then he should probably transfer ownership of this blog to someone who's not as delicate as he.

Can you put aside your candidate support for a second and see that Jerome's actions were ridicuclous?

If not, ask yourself how you'd feel if it were Kos who wrote an anti-Clinton diary that was as fact-free as Jerome's hit piece on Obama was.

  • on a comment on MyDD's little censoring problem over 6 years ago

Appreciate it, but this diary isn't going anywhere.

I can see the idiotic suppression continuing.

  • comment on a post MyDD's little censoring problem over 6 years ago

Everyone should feel free to recommend this diary, because if it happens to get on the list, Jerome will simply remove it from there.

Can't have anyone pointing out his fuck-ups, now can we?

  • comment on a post Someone Tell McCain over 6 years ago

See what happens when you don't write an asinine smear job on Obama?

See what happens when you stick with facts?

    Good writing, Larry.

It's been a LONG time since anyone's been able to say that to you and it be factual.
