The first fresh poll results from Pennsylvania are in since Barack Obama's "bitter" comments about people in small towns exploded as a news story, and the findings could hardly be worse for the Democratic presidential contender.
Intriguingly, the man in charge of the survey said interviews with voters indicate Obama's tumble in the state has more to do with what the candidate himself has said were ill-chosen words than anything else.
Well well, this is opinion but seems to be based on what voters actually say and think. Despite the spinning of the media and the Obama campaign, people in PA may actually be smart enough to know when they have been insulted.
Further down read about what they think of his commercials. They are tired of them and think he talks about himself too much rather than what he is going to do in office. When I was a kid we used to refer to that as being "stuck on yourself".
Like me, some others are tired of his constant commercials. The funniest one is Bob Casey telling us what a uniter Obama is. Every time I see it I wonder what Obama has promised Casey to get him to spend this kind of political capital.
Just as an aside: it was reported last week that Bob Casey skipped an appointment he had to give a fallen soldier's medals to his parents. He made up some sort of excuse but it turned out he went to Pittsburgh to do a photo-op with Obama. At this time I am not sure that the medals have been delivered still.
Now this is not Obama's responsibility. No one should blame him for Casey's behavior. But if his campaign knew what Casey was supposed to be doing that day and encouraged him to join them anyway (and I have no information on that)then that does speak to Obama's character.
Anyway, we will never know so this is little more than an interesting aside.
