is this performance art? Have you watched what has happened to the Clinton over the last two months?
They have been painted as racists by the Obama campaign.
Where ever it is you are from go back there and mess up your own elections with your particular brand of selective outrage.
PS... if you use mozilla, you can get an automatic spell check.
everyone including Obama has said he is where he is because he is black. EVERYONE said that he was going to win SC because of the black vote. Everyone said it for months. But Obama needed a race card after his loss in NH and he pulled a couple of doozies.
the other thing Gore has going for him is that he has the experience to be president and run the country well. People pushing other candidates seem to worry only on whether they can be sold to the public. It is going to be fun to watch people jump on the bandwagon of one after another "flavor of the month" candidate.
msm gets paid obscene amounts of money to be insipid , stupid and incompetant. Of course they are threatened by the blogosphere which does what they are supposed to be doing, only for a lot less money.
That is not to say there are never mistakes on serious blog posts.
But you know, it is not really your problem or anyone else's whether they "get it" or not. Let them account for their own incompetance. Let them examine their own deficiencies publically. If they don't then there are some of us who will do it for them. Take the battle to them and let's not worry about what they think of your or anyone else who is doing political blogging.
Be the media, God knows much of the MSM hasn't been for years.
I think that it is silly that so many people are jumping in already. I hope Al waits until the last minute possible to announce if he should decide to run.
Let's talk about the issues and have a real national conversation and then decide who should be president.
Gore is trying to engage everyone in an issue that should be non partisan. More power to him if he runs for President too!
This was a vision that was dominant from 1988-2004, when Democrats heavily employed triangulation, focused almost entirely on the narrow targeting of a few "swing" districts and demographics, and when television advertisements and repetitious talking points aimed mushy-middle, low information voters where the primary tools utilized in all national Democratic campaigns.
The operative phrase is "few swing districts".
Also, with few exceptions, indendents came over not because democrats were talking like republicans, but because they DISAGREED with republicans and want the democrats to go in a different direction. So yes, it is a victory for the progressive movement.
