Pennsylvania brings it for Hillary

We had a wonderful day. The weather was great. The people were happy. The campaign was cooking with all burners.
Come join me for some impressions of what happened and why and why the media continues to be so idiotic.....
No matter what the media says, the people do care about the questions asked on ABC. They know where the candidates stand on the issues, they are now going to vote on character and with Hillary they like what they see.
In Pa, being the hardest worker is even better than being the smartest student. Hillary is the hardest worker I have ever seen. boy is she determined!
She was all over PA these last weeks and people recognize in her a extraordinary woman who will be a great president. People know that she likes and understands them and will fight for them like she has her whole career.
The thing I heard the most while I poll watched was "she's our girl", She is our girl and here in NEPA particularly, we love her. We admire her ability to stand up and refuse to be knocked down. It is our experience, we also refuse to be knocked down. The area is undergoing a renewal and we believe that Hillary is the person to help us make that renewal long lasting.
You can't beat her on the issues. Not only are her stances more progressive than Obama's. They are also based on experience.
Another reason we won is that thousands of Clinton supporters poured in to the state to help us win. We had hundreds right here in Scranton. People came from as far as NE and TX. People drove in from every state in the NE over the last few days. It was wonderful. And guess what, the people of PA welcomed them.
In fact one women from MA told me that she convinced someone to chose Hillary because the passion she had that caused her to travel that far must mean something important.
A special call out to NewHampster and Ulsterdem. They are both great guys who were a greet addition to the campaign efforts here. I think NewHampster has found a second home in our state.
Ulsterdem and I worked together for ACT in 2004 in Old Forge. It took us all day to kind of place each other in our minds. But now we remember each other and it was fun talking about that campaign. I have no doubt that he will be back to campaign here again and I think NewHampster might be persuaded to come back some time too. = )
The women... damn right we think it is time for a woman president. Live with it, we also think she is an obviously superior candidate. But we know a woman has to be twice as good to be considered half as good. It is a fact of life and Clinton is more than twice as good. I have many republican friends who are just waiting for November to vote for her. They are pro-choice and fiscally moderate and in fact would fit in to the democratic party fairly well. But they have always been republicans since the time that their party had a liberal wing and they are not about to change. Still they are excited about Clinton. They too think that the inspirationally smart, hard working and dedicated to the people candidate is the one who should be president.
I believe that Clinton will be the next president of the USA. I got a sense last night during his speech that he is over. It is not scientific or facts based opinion so don't get excited about arguing with me about it. I just got a sense that he doesn't have the fight she does. When he fights he does it by being frat boy mean. He makes jokes about age and gender and it doesn't serve him well. Saying she threw the kitchen sink, the china and the silverware was another sexist joke. Not funny Barry, not funny and not smart. Keep it up. Again the media and Obama supporters can spin any way they want, but women know sexism when they see it.
Last night was so much fun. People in PA are now going to hit the state by state crawl to victory. Volunteers that got a taste of how great it is to pull out a victory want more of it and will be going to IN< NC, WV etc... There might be someone going to OR for all I know. We shall see.
BTW, here in Lackawanna country we won by 50 percentage posts. TAKE THAT BOB CASEY!. PS... we know that one of your relatives is doing a great deal of Obama's campaign printing.
Money talks I guess. But people are pissed at you for backing Obama. I heard it over and over in the campaign office when people came in to help or to pick up signs and at the polling places. I wonder if it will seem worth it when you have a hard time getting grassroots democrats to go to bat for you in your next campaign.
I have some pictures of her last rally in PA that I would love to post, but for some reason I am having a hard time getting them to post.
ps... both her brothers were there last night at the Scranton PA victory party. When she came on the big screen for her speech they stood there with their arms around each other watching her with so much pride. It was very touching. And we all cheered ourselves hoarse. She was GREAT! She was presidential and positive. It was the best speech she has given. I urge you to see it.
On to IN, here is Chelsea on the campaign trail. She may look just like her Grandma Rodham, but watch and see who's mannerisms she has...
