I suppose, for me, being rather not a child of the culture wars, I can't fully appreciate what it is that makes the reaction to White Guilt so strong, and, as such, your point about the political violence of the 60s is both very interesting and well taken.
The reality is a lot more complex and nuanced than your aphorism here would lead us to believe. You know as well as I that the candidates signed a pledge not to campaign in either state and Obama didn't have his name on the ballot in MI.
I don't want to go off topic and get into some long argument over FL and MI, but I'll say this: there are plenty of good arguments for seating the delegates. There are. But it's simplistic to sum up the situation as undemocratic then declare Obama a bad Democrat.
This kind of black-and-white thinking is not good for the party and not good for your interests.
