You were right to call me out for speaking on behalf of Jesus. I should have employed the literary trick commonly known as snark (as you did), in order to convey my message more appropriately... while speaking for Jesus !!
Perhaps you can start another diary with those comments expanded out into a discussion. The path forward is much more important than a discussion of the past.
I would be happy to rec that diary as well. I would be happy to initiate such a diary as well, but... we both know that your diaries will likely get much more attention because of your better writing abilities, and because of your better interpersonal skills =)
Ah yes, the miracle approach would be preferable to the destruction.
However, isn't there some clause in the Bible about not invoking a miracle in vain ? Perhaps the lawyers can opine whether the suggested use of this miracle would qualify !!
If the use of a miracle is acceptable under the circumstances, then I would suggest that he make us energy efficient. After all, even if a trillion barrels of oil were to be had, we would be releasing boatloads of CO2 and SO2 in the air... and that makes me cough!!
Have a good day Mr Adam. If you recall, I have tried to wish adieu several times...but you never leave. I am delighted that you are now wishing me farewell of your own volition!
If you are married, then please convey my sympathies to your wife =)
PS: I hate to offer up a minor correction when we are parting on such friendly terms, but... I do think I understand your industry better than you do. I "owned up" to not being an insider, or even an outsider... I suppose you jumped to your conclusions from there =)
You had a very cogent comment in the other thread about what you would like to happen. Perhaps you can include those comments as an update here, (or perhaps in a new diary.. which I will be happy to rec as well). It is much more important to discuss the path forward, rather than to focus on the past.
Yes, I am (was, actually) AF reserve. No, it wasnt in Georgia...or in any country hostile to the Russians (oh, you are hilarous) I also had a PhD at age 25... from a fairly decent school in the US. I would not call myself an engineer, although some people do call me that!
And oddly enough, encryption is one thing that I most certainly do not understand... I am not a mathematician!!
