obama, ' s congregation

Senator Obama has spent more than twenty years as a community organizer and an elected leader of the congregation that attends Jeremiah Wright's church. To see these congregrants wildly cheer the diatribes of Reverend Wright is the most disconcerting part of the whole sorry episode. It shows that he has not moved the community he lives in and leads. This is the only record other than the speeches that the senator has created to judge him by. I just dont see how he is going to bridge the national divide when he has failed so miserably close to home!!!!!1

That last "1" there after the "!!!!" really convinced me.

It's Unfair to Convey upon a Candidate the Words and Actions of the Man's Imam.

Re: obama, ' s congregation

How can Obama be racist, when his own mother is White. The mother who raised him. These sick rumours said that Obama was a muslim. While that would be hard with a pastor, wouldn't it.

I believe Obama was trying to help the ranting old man. That's why he was there. Obama is trying to help.

You're joking right

He's been trying to help him for 20 years. The Hillary rant was 3 months ago. If that's the effect of Obama's help, he ain't very effective.

Obama has basically run....

on his father's coattails - we know about his mother through the NY Times article...did you know he has half sisters/brothers?  Never heard a word about them.  One is a sister in Hawaii who is a teacher.  Why not bring them into the campaign?

And, you want to bet that Michele and Barry were sitting in their pew on 9/16/2001 - as tons of Americans were doing that first Sunday after 9/11?  As a politican he wouldn't have missed that chance...OR Rev. Wright blaming 9/11 on us.

Re: obama, ' s congregation

His selling point is that he can bring people together. His record shows he can not. No one is calling him a racist. I am just not buying his sales pitch that he has some unique healing power which he will exercise over the nation after failing so miserably close to home.

Re: obama, ' s congregation

The wright issue is settled. Anything beyond it is poor whining. Move on. It is over. Ask Kristol at the Nytimes how it feels.
The media got burned over it today and they wont want to cover it again.

Now for the Hillary tax returns. I want to know what's in there.
