Pray in Jesus Name??

We have detailed both here and here about how a far-right radio station owned by Bristol Broadcasting is holding a propoganda meeting in a church. They feature a panel of "knowledgable people" including a right-wing reporter, and a Doctor who is a huge contributor to Republicans who will present far-right-wing talking points as fact and will attempt to propogandize religous folks in Western Kentucky.
However, the hypocrisy of this radio station far from ends here. Not being content with having the airwaves all to themselves while spewing hate and propoganda with no obligation to present the other side, these folks must resort to using a church to spread their falsehoods and try to propogandize Western Kentuckians that supporting their fellow working poor Americans that desperately need affordable insurance is somehow anti-Christian and the work of the devil. They will not allow any dissenting views on the Christian aspects of Universal Healthcare on their panel.
Well, as if that was not enough, now this very same radio station is running ads that are simply the most misleading ads I have heard among many. They spew the garbabe of euthanasia and death panels as if it were gospel. They also attempt to convince their readers that the Healthcare Bill will fund abortion and sex-change operations. Here is their summary of the healthcare bill:
So let me summarize Obama's health care plan: 1) Euthenizes grandma, 2) Mandates funding murder of innocent children, 3) Empowers atheist litigants to outlaw the healing power of the Christian faith, 4) Refuses to exclude funding sex-change operations.
Here is their definately misnamed site:
But how Christian are these folks really?? It appears as if their leader is just another hate-filled zealot that is yet another of the "false-prophets" that Christ himself warned of. He was a FORMER Navy Chaplain who was dismissed from duty for insisting that he be able to give sectarian prayers at public events. What did he do when someone pointed out that on his website he is still dressed in Navy garb after being released?? In the name of Christ he prayed for the death of them AND their families:
Let us pray. Almighty God, today we pray imprecatory prayers from Psalm 109 against the enemies of religious liberty, including Barry Lynn and Mikey Weinstein, who issued press releases this week attacking me personally. God, do not remain silent, for wicked men surround us and tell lies about us. We bless them, but they curse us. Therefore find them guilty, not me. Let their days be few, and replace them with Godly people. Plunder their fields, and seize their assets. Cut off their descendants, and remember their sins, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Here is some more of his hate-filled diatribe, not at all disguised as a "prayer" to Christ:
Let us pray. Almighty God, we celebrate the freedom to assemble, as demonstrated on April 15th by over 600,000 Americans in over 800 cities around America, who simultaneously attended TEA parties, protesting 2-trillion dollars of annual taxation and deficit spending by the Obama Administration and the Democrats in Congress. God we pray for an uprising like Habakkuk 2:7, "Will not your debtors suddenly arise? Won't they wake up and make you tremble? You will become their victim." God give us an anti-tax revolution in the next elections. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Now, Western Kentucky has a large Christian population. Most of what folks hear in a church they will give extra weight to as an act of faith in God. This is a particularly vile, disgusting and evil way to win support from folks that are working the low-paying service-type jobs these "Christian Republicans" have provided us with. The very people that would benefit the most if our country had Universal Healthcare. Now, they will get to hear lying propogandists with an agenda and a tell them they are going to hell unless they oppose their own interests.
But even that is not enough for them. They foward the agenda of a "Christian Chaplain" whose views are so full of distortion and downright hate that they border on occultism. Who actually prays to Christ for the death of someone that is not a charlatain?? I would just like to say to Mr. Klingenschmitt, who IS NOT a representative of Christ that you can pray for my death all you want. You are false prophet and a downright hate-filled liar so your prayers mean absolutely nothing to anyone that honestly cares about their fellow man.
The only good thing about all of this to me as a Christian is knowing that these same folks who use Christ's name to spread hate, lies, and occultism will face the same God I will one day. Have fun with your propoganda meeting hypocrites, I would never pray to Christ for your death.
