We Gave Him To A Nice Farm Family

Now, I know some of the people around here are concerned about Fleaflicker not being a part of our community anymore. But I wanted to tell you, you have no reason to worry! It's all going to be okay.

But we need to have a very sincere talk.

Now, I know you loved Fleaflicker, but he wasn't happy here. He couldn't stay here. And he loved you, too-- he loved you very much indeed-- but he needed to go someplace where he could run and jump and write hateful and spiteful fact-less rants. And he couldn't do that here anymore.

So we took Fleaflicker out behind MyDD World Headquarters last night, and we... y'know, Jerome, Jonathan, Todd, and I... we gave him one last hug, and we said goodbye to him, and Fleaflicker went away forever. sniff. And we sent him to the country to live on a beautiful farm with a nice family of Clinton supporters.

Those loud banging noises you heard were probably the truck backfiring. He went to the farm in a truck, you know.

Don't be sad. You should be happy for him. He is in a much better place now. He has many of your other favorite bloggers, really great bloggers like Universal and Taylor Marsh, to keep him company. It's a wonderful place, with no Obama supporters, no discussion about serious issues, no silly facts to get in the way.

Fleaflicker loved MyDD, and it is a nice place here, sure, but this farm is even nicer. It was just time for him to go there.

I hope you understand.

And yes- this was all snark, and not meant seriously. Just trying to lighten your day.

We are all Fleaflickers...

I know that was a joke but..

Lets get serious for a minute and look ten or fifteen years down the road. I know any of you think I'm ranting, often, and a nut, but just suppose some of those rants come true and lets just say the employment picture has changed radically and there are NO more unskilled jobs.

And oil and gas prices are four or five times what they are now and huge chunks of suburban and rural America have had to be abandoned, and are reverting back to woods and anarchy, and all the people with bad credit and huge debts, which is a LOT of people, have to live there, off the grid, with the chronically ill. People will burn abandoned houses to survive.

Except that there will be millions of them and we will start hearing stories about dissapearances and roundups. It will be like some bad scifi movie.

Then, will the story of Fleaflicker seem so far fetched? I don't think so.

America deserves better than Obama. We can do better than mediocre. I know they say the economics of it all don't support it, that Obama is all 'we' can afford right now, but...thats a Big Lie(TM) of course, like what happened to Fleaflicker.

Like it or not, the reason so many hate Hillary is because they know in their hearts that Obama represents denial and Hillary represents real change and a chance to actually get out of this mess, even if she makes the addicted insurance companies and drug companies and military/industrial complex and chemical companies and nuclear power companies COMPROMISE for the PUBLIC GOOD. And they know thats going to be hard and going to demand sacrifice of ALL of us and not just the little people, who under Obama are going to be squeezed really hard to preserve the over large slice of the pie that you Obama folk have sneaked out of the refrigerator for yourselves while we were all asleep.

No, we don't want to see America continue to deny whats happening, we want the truth, before its too late. We can take it, but you can't.

Is that too much to ask?

Re: We Gave Him To A Nice Farm Family

Remember in The Sopranos, Tony recalls a period in his youth where his father Johnny Soprano was incarcerated.

"They told me he was in Montana, being a cowboy."

Sorry, seemed appropriate somehow. ;)

LOL, if I get banned (and it's probably only a matter of time), will you write something like this about me?

"Duuuh...  Tell me 'bout da rabbits again, Ragekage!"

"Oh yes, Fleaflickr, once we get our farms, we'll have rabbits.  Lots of rabbits.  All kinds of rabbits.  White rabbits, brown rabbits..."

"And blue rabbits?"

"Heh, why yes, Fleaflickr.  Blue rabbits, and orange rabbits and polka dot rabbits.  You just keep looking straight ahead while I get behind you here, and think about all the fuzzy little rabbits..."

Uh, I haven't read the FAQ here yet, but I

thought I saw a diary by an administrator or founder here a few days ago indicating in no uncertain terms that diaries making fun of a particular poster or calling out a particular poster are off limits and will not be tolerated.

Wouldn't this diary apply, even if in your mind you (genuinely or disingenuously, and I have my opinion) were just having a little fun?

Seems to me you took a parting shot at someone who is not here to defend themself.
