Well, it looks like you're wrong anna shane. See link above.
BTW, are you still thinking that policy proposals that Obama's put out don't tell you anything about what he'd do in office? Last time I saw you post here you claimed that what he said and wrote really didn't count as communication...for some reason.
Who the hell cares? Do you really think women are so dumb that they'll vote for any woman even if the candidate's positions are not to their liking?
BTW, I do research in this area and there's ZERO evidence that women are more likely to vote for women candidates than male candidates if the woman candidate is a Republican and the male candidate a Democrat. ZERO.
Anna Shane - How nice to see you here! I thought you were only posting at Alegre's place where there difference between that blog and NQ is getting smaller and smaller. Why did you decide to come back here?
There never was a deadline. In fact, the other day Gibbs said they might not announce until Wednesday at the convention.
And it's not Obama's fault that the media got leaks and the beans were spilled a few hours early. Also I think folks who were out or sleeping Friday night - just not paying attention to politics - probably learned the news from a text message. My college aged daughter did.
And I can't imagine that anyone would really care about whether they heard from text message or not...certainly not in a few days from now.
The announcement was put off because of the McCain gaffe.
I think it was a GREAT move to not announce on Thursday. Otherwise the whole "I don't know how many houses I own" thing would have been buried. We got two good days of publicity out of it and now they can use it through the campaign.
