ACT for more SIbel Edmonds coverage

Cross-posted at Daily Kos

It is now more than one month since Sunday Times of the United Kingdom published their first article on what could be called "The Sibel Edmonds Case" on January 6: "For sale: West's deadly nuclear secrets". This was the followed by "FBI denies file exposing nuclear secrets theft" on January 20 and "Tip-off thwarted nuclear spy ring probe".

This is 2008, the year when the citizens of the USA will elect the new president of the United States of Planet Earth. :-) Everything revealed by Times, Sibel herself, her most ardent supporter and publisher Luke Ryland (unfortunately gone on a trip for months) as well as professional analysts like Philip Giraldi (ex-CIA).

Philip Giraldi is of particular interest since his long career inside the CIA makes him a Real Expert writing in a totally bi-partisan way for both the Huffington Post - "Sibel Edmonds Must be Heard" - and the American Conservative - "Found in Translation" - and all this ought to be enough to question most presidential candidates: What sort of system will YOU protect?

According to Google News and Google Email Alerts (also covering blogs if you select Comprehensive) their is more than a doubling of items talking about Sibel Edmonds. It's still nothing but a tiny drop in the ocean, but the trend can be pushed further if we ACT in a clever way. In particular "Sibel Edmonds Must be Heard" is making waves among bloggers and other web sites: 1410 hits on Google. Not bad at all. But not good enough.

On Daily Kos you can see the diaries mentioning Sibel Edmonds on the search page. This is a good way to keep track of what's going on HERE. Since the attention spam of the Kos system seems to be very short I would like to point you to "I read Lukery & acted efficiently@Sibel Edmonds" which is an example of down-to-earth activism needed here. My own "YumaSun breaks the Sibel Edmonds wall of silence" yesterday was more focused on what can be done here on the net. BTW: Daily Kos diaries don't seem to appear on Google Alerts which may be a very good reason cross post at

Let's keep up the pressure.

Re: ACT for more SIbel Edmonds coverage

Sorry, replied on the wrong diary.

Don't worry. That kind of off-topic comments seem to be the norm over at Daily Kos :-)
