Hmm do we really need more shovel ready projects? In Iowa and Minnesota construction has exploded due to to the stimulus. My route home from Des Moines has levels of construction that make me want to kill someone because all the best routes are blocked off or reduced to one lane, or whatever. Despite my personal difficulties with the construction (and they have been CONSIDERABLE) my question is: are there any projects left? Are there workers left for them--I mean most of the layoffs now are in white collar jobs right? Are they really going to go into construction jobs? I suppose if they get desperate enough they'll try but I don't see it.
Actually they are doing the right thing to the women. Their event is not worthwhile enough to devote time to it. But that they are letting equally or even more obscure or wasteful men's sports in is ridiculous.
The only exception is if it was an original sport then it's tradition, but then it should be available to either gender since they're actually doing the same thing.
I'm largely against drones because it's not fair. At least with a human assassin you have a decent chance of fighting it off. Yes it's stupid, but my main problem with the fact that we kick around 3rd world countries is that they can't effectively fight back and I feel ashamed that we use methods that are so unstoppable by them.
Since those states who don't take the money actually have reason not too, after enough time can the money be re-purposed to those of us whose states (like MN and IA!) who have already committed to spending all the money? No use to it sitting there.
Great. At least when Rome had soldier-emperors they were good generals. But due to technological advances, good generals don't exist anymore as our system selects for mediocre careerists because that's what you need to run a modern army.
So consequently, our military overlords while usually competent in the field, make crap political leaders.
Is there a less ideological way the Democrats could have governed up to this point? Not and establish good policies.
That said, yes, too liberal is a bad thing. By the very WORDING OF THE QUESTION, Too Liberal = more than is necessary. So of course it's a negative. Whether that negative affects them and how much is the question.
