Mehlman Says Hillary Clinton Angry

I found this at www.capitalnews.org, and then at http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060205/ap_o n_go_co/gop_clinton

It appears that Ken Mehlman, chairman of the corrupt Republican Party, and amateur psychologist, has diagnosed Hillary Clinton with anger problems.  Mehlman, who has his own issues, should not be throwing stones because they may come back to hit him like a boomerang.

Besides, do we think she is angry?  I think Americans in general are angry about the following:  the Iraq war, cuts in programs for the poor and elderly, rising gas/heating prices, Exxon-Mobil making billions of dollars in profit, a gulf coast still in disarray despite promises to rebuild, and an administration and Republican party so corrupt it makes you want to puke.  Yeah!

Mehlman

They always say stuff like that when they have legal problems.

Re: Mehlman Says Hillary Clinton Angry

She appears angry, and she is playing into Russ Feingold's hands.  When Clinton appears angry it just exaserbates the left's anger towards Bush.  It is like a crying of help for a leftist candidate to come out.  Leftist people know that Hillary is too polarizing and too in between to win the nomination, so they are looking for an alternative candidate that can attack the right with much more enthusiam and that appears to be Russ Feingold or someone who is not part of the Washington establishment.

It worked against McCain

Does anyone remember John McCain's temper?

Has anyone ever listened to Hannity? How about John Gibson? Does anyone remember Al Gore? How about John Kerry?

This is a standard tactic. Hannity's favorite adjective is unhinged. This is a standard RWNM attack:

* MSNBC's Chris Matthews told his national television audience that the terrorist responsible for 9/11 "sounds like an over the top Michael Moore here, if not a Michael Moore."

* The far-right New York Post editorial board wrote, "Who writes [bin Laden's] stuff -- Howard Dean? John Murtha? Sure sounds like it."

* Fox News' John Gibson told his audience, "[bin Laden] is talking to America's far left and saying, 'You know what. We're on the same side. So why don't you work on that hardhead George W. Bush?' Bin Laden told us Thursday that our far left has been working for him."

This is what political discourse in post-9/11 America has come to. These aren't just far-right bloggers popping off on Free Republic; these are high-profile, well-paid, widely-seen ideologues who purport to be journalists. They have a meme -- the left is weak -- and a megaphone, and they're not about to let facts get in the way of perfectly good demagoguery.

The primary purpose of the RWNM is to slime Democrats. Any Democratic candidate is going to get slime, Gored, Swiftboated and Hilloried. Why is anyone surprised? That's just what they do.

Rolling over and playing dead is what Democrats do. That's why their tactic keeps working.
