Rasmussen poll: Shaheen 48%-Sununu 43% + PRIMARY numbers

Rasmussen just came out with polls from New Hampshire, and its first test of the Senate race since Jeanne Shaheen announced she was jumping in the race.

While many polls have shown Shaheen with wide leads, not Rasmussen. He only has her up 48% to 43%.

This is certainly a much smaller lead than we would like to see, and contradicts the notion that the NH race is in the bag.

Rasmussen also polled the Democratic and Republican nomination races, and the numbers are a bit unexpected:
Clinton is leading by a huge margin (40 to 17%), while Romney's 12 point lead has dwindled down to a 3 point edge against Giuliani. For both candidates, Iowa is still obviously very important, but Clinton has a lot of margin room.

Yep, a smaller lead than I would have expected but 43% for an incumbent is lousy.

Re: Rasmussen poll: Shaheen 48%-Sununu 43%

Shaheen has an upper hand in the race and seems to have convinced at least 48% to vote for her, 2 more percent and she wins!

Romney will be the nominee b/c he is strong in Iowa and the Massachusetts factor will help him in NH.

Then, we slay him like a beast during the general! I cannot wait until we "John Kerry" him.

ARG poll

ARG has a similar result out--46 to 41 for Shaheen.  Did we really think this would be a cakewalk?

Re: ARG poll

It will be a cakewalk. The combination ticket of Clinton and Shaheen will make the women's vote insurmountable for Sununu.
