Trolls are hurting Obama - UPDATED

It's true. Trolls are hurting the Obama administration.
A troll named Timothy Geithner accepted a job in treasury (supervising, among other agencies, the IRS), even though he under stated his income on his tax returns and belatedly paid $34,000 in back income taxes and $8,000 in interest.
Another troll named Bill Richardson accepted a nomination to commerce without disclosing the seriousness of an investigation into his alleged ''pay-to-play'' politics.
A third troll, Nancy Killefer, nominated to a top budget post, failed to pay unemployment compensation taxes for domestic help and had a lien placed on her home as a result.
The biggest troll, Tom Daschle, owed more than $140,000 in back taxes and interest at the time of his nomination (for failing to report almost $100K in earnings and the free use of a chauffeured luxury car, and for overstating his charitable deductions). This troll earned over $5 million in two years, largely from industry groups, including over $200K in speaking fees from the industry he sought to reform and regulate.
Two smaller trolls, although former lobbyists, accepted nominations in breach of the administration's ban on lobbyists.
Yup, as noted by several mydd regulars, there are many trolls out to get this administration. But, it's not the trolls writing diaries on mydd that you need to worry about. It's the trolls in D.C.Update: Number 1 on the Rec List? I couldn't have said it better, Sally: http://youtube.com/watch?v=IynQCmqvXZs
