Wes Clark - Obama and the TV and Radio Machines

Cross posted atEENR

There is so much talk going on all over the "tubes" lately about what Wes Clark said and meant.

To get a little perspective about how Wes Clark feels about Obama and what he has been saying about McCain, try reading his own words from his personal blog at WesPAC.

Bush's Third Term

Unite Behind Barack Obama

After reading his words and understanding where he is coming from, then listen to what he has to say. Check out all of the video and audio from the last few days by going here:

Dan Abrams on MSNBC, Good Morning America on ABC and on the Ed Schultz show.

Do any of you still think that Barack Obama, his campaign and Wes Clark are not working together?

The traffic

at Wes Clark's website has been up over the last few days... I wonder why?  ;)

Re: Wes Clark - Obama and the TV

Well put - - it's sort of illogical, in my view, to think that a retired four-star general (of all people) would just pop off and go off message.  Obama got exactly what he (and we all) wanted out of the "incident" - - the idea that McCain is not really some surpassing war hero is now out there in the ether.  I thought it was well-orchestrated - - I guess all the more so since a lot of people stridenly deny that it possibly could have been coordinated.

Does anyone REALLY think Wes is just freelancing?

Of course, there is a wink and a nod going on between the Obama camp and Wes.

Heck, I saw one of the nuttybar Clintonites here who was sure Wes was going to go on the pundit shows and just GO OFF ON Obama?

Stunning, how naive folks who post on political blogs can be.

I really think ....

that Clark's 'questionable' remarks were orchestrated by the interviewer, not by any complicit tact taken on by the Obama campaign.  I also believe that there is no way nor any reason that Clark would go on any media outlet and "go off" on Obama.  That's stupid and insane on it's own.

It would help if you could refer to folks holding such a view as what they are "nuts', instead of trashing the Clintons by association with them.  You can't associate Obama with control of some of the follks who support him with such zeal that they have become Clinton haters anymore than you can associate the Clintons with control of such nuts.  It doesn't help the discourse.

Re: I really think ....

Ok, I agree, it's not fair to Senator Clinton to hold these people against her.

Just, I recognize the folks, who would defend Senator Clinton over everthing, and rip Obama in the opposite manner? Same people going ballastic over anything Obama does.

So, I agree, I should not associate them so strongly with their past here.
