Talon News has a source at CBS?

In my reserach of Gannogate, I discovered a column written by Gannon on Dan Rather.
In it he states Talon News had a source at CBS. Wouldn't it be interesting to find out just who was his source?

Another question raised by his article is, how did Mary Mapes father become involved?  Why would anyone respond to a reporter with a "news" group without any name recognition? Hmmm.....

This is the site.

gannon question
can anybody point to a definitive summary on gannongate?  seriously, between the problems i had loading dkos over the past two weeks & my hectic paid-job work schedule, i have had almost zero time to follow it.

i don't have the time to wade through the multiple gannon threads, and i'm really not clear on what assignments are left.  i'd like to help but am totally lost.

can anyone point to any threads which summarise the situation and assignments?

Re: gannon question
I haven't found anyplace giving out instructions, but in the comment threads on dkos, you can see what a few people are looking up...scroll to botttom on this one, you'll see a few ideas.

Re: gannon question
On Dailykos.com there is a thread on the front page that's an excellent timeline/analysis of the whole thing (thus far...)
