FBI in Minnesota to Intimidate Protesters

Just saw a couple articles on this story today.

The crazy thing is that these groups haven't done anything yet.  It's like the FBI are handling MoveOn types like they were the Black Panthers.

Lets hope that it gets a little more coverage between Palin and Gustav.  Forward it on and rec if you like.

Re: Cops harass Protesters

In Denver, an ABC reporter was arrested for simply covering a news story. He was not obstructing traffic or behaving in a violent manner.

Why do cops violate civil rights? The same reason that dogs like their butts - cause they can. The only way that this will stop is to charge the police for the crimes that they committed - and no, "I'm a cop" is not a defense to violating civil rights.

Re: Cops harass Protesters

Yeah, I think the other part of the picture is a complacent media and public opinion.  The two go hand in hand really, but I think if more people saw this story it would create much more of a stir.  Perhaps the narrative is tainted by the fact that the protester are "vegans" and other highly marginalized sects of people.  What if the NAACP was planning on holding a demonstration at the RNC and were intimidated by the FBI? I bet it might stir a little more attention because they aren't perceved as outsiders as much as vegans and the far-left (whatever they mean by far-left).
