Sorry about the quotes, but it's like potato chips; once you start you just can't stop yourself.

    Sorry to be tasteless, but...

So we're now approaching a situation in which a MAN may be selecting the replacement of woman.  If not for misogyny we would have a Genius Woman Politician appointing a woman to what should now be a woman's court!  Any woman appointed by a woman will be a victory for all women - and more importantly, a crushing defeat of men & menkind!

Now that I have that out of my system, I can only echo what desmoinesdem said & offer best wishes to Ruth Bader Ginsburg & her family.

  • And just what potato is deemed worthy of B. Hussein? Yukon Gold?  You can just bet it's going to be some elitist tubor to go with his "arugula" demands.

A friendly tip:  The proven DD standard for Headline diaries is to inject a certain degree of teh crazy.  Teh crazy can come in a variety of flavors - vaguely racist language, nutjob links, feigned outrage, and above all, feisty & fearless dissent! dissent! dissent!  With some work I'm sure you'll be able to cut & paste with the worst of 'em.

  • There's no dissonance whatsoever.  The important thing is to understand the inner Obama.  Or so I've learned by reading the deep thought at one of the more popular sites of fearless dissent.  Jess81 asked that I repost this quote & comment as I had originally plugged it very late into an earlier Caro diary.  This is actually a cut & paste job - a skill I picked up from this very diarist.  As Jess points out, it can probably be relevant over and over again.

    drkate,

The big zero more than "just can't stand women." He hates them. He belongs to that segment of gay and bisexual men who are misogynists.

Obama does seem to have very "poor" relationships with women in his life. He didn't go to see his mother while she was ill with cancer. When his grandmother was gravely ill, he said he was going to suspend his campaign so he could go to see her -- then waited 2-3 days before doing it. Didn't go to her memorial. Don't know how close he is to his sister -- anybody know about that? Maya always speaks positively about him, of course. Then there's Michelle, always looks so angry. There are a lot of things she could be angry about, but an unhappy marriage would do that to you. (I know, I've been there.)

Now think about the Muslim attitude toward women (at least some Muslims). Obama was raised in Islam for at least 4 years, about 6-10 years old I think. What kind of effect did that have on him, could it be so ingrained it's lasted all his life?

I'm sure the examples I cited in the first paragraph can be rationalized away, but it does make me wonder.......

    CalifGirlinMaine,

Astute observations. It occurred to me the other day that I had not seen Maya make an appearance at the inauguration. Was she there? Were any of BO's siblings on his father's side?

Not only does Obama have a misogynist's heart (of course I might too if I lived with ME-chelle), he seems totally detached from his blood relatives with the exception of his daughters.

Isn't that a character trait of a narcissist?

Sorry for the lack of a link - call it my own little Burnsie moment.  Emphasis added just for fun.

The entire thread is rich with such deep & probing thoughts.  The contributers to this forum are highly sensatve about issues facing womem  (except for Michelle, but I suppose she's not a real woman) And they also care deeply about diversity - except for some of the Muslims, and some of the gays.  Nevertheless, these shining stars of honest dialogue & brave dissent are working very hard to truly understand President Obama.  Maybe we should be probing deeper into the dark, dark core that must lie inside that dark-skinned man.   (And I bet some drunk-on-the-Kool-Ade O-bot will find a way a way to twist "dark core" into a phony racist meme!)

  • Gee shucks, thanks!

From our craftily clever Caro the Cutter, I have learned the very basics of cut'n'paste'n'post.  I will gladly  splash that new skill throughout the next breathlessly anticipated continuing editions of Caro carrion.

Maybe I'll even learn the extraordinary skill of posting a picture without the "Do Fish get Drunk" tag.  I have just the Unicorn image to enhance this comment with a little magic!

Then again, the drunk fish tag does add a bit of appropriate gravitas to diaries like this one.

  • Stuffy,

It's entirely possible that Obama would gladly kill evey last unicorn if given half a chance.  From what I've been reading today it's just a matter of understanding his dark and demented psyche.  Here's a small sample from a current thread that currently runs to 126 comments:

  • Examples, please.

    Now this is funny!

  • Hours have passed and I realize that I've behaved like a child .  I could have sworn that someone, sometime today told me rather forcefully to set aside childish things.

I turn over the rest of this comment to a straightforward cut and past of an independently-thought, alternate view of our new President.  It comes straight from a front-page position on a well-travelled watery website that is staunchly and proudly prowling the precious path of pumadom:

Sounds like these Obots were given bogus "Wonka bars"

       OOOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPA DEE DOO
I'VE GOT ANOTHER PUZZLE FOR YOU
        OOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADAH DEE
IF YOU ARE WISE YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME

What happens when you vote for a misogynist FAKE?
Who burned Hillary and Sarah at the stake.
You cry when he does the same to you
You deserve what get for eating Obama poo

       Your meaningless little purple passes
got you nothing for kissing the Obamas' asses

       OOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADEE DAH
DON'T DRINK KOOL AID THEN YOU WILL GO FAR.
        OBAMABOTS ARE DUMBER THAN POO
        OOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADEE DO

Seems that we've all been put in our place good and proper.

  • It's NEVER too late!

    The Usurper shall be vanquished!

The illustration says it all: Slurp the Usurper!

All real patriots, join Our Usurper Slurper Movement!  Raise your voices, join in our battle cry!

He didn't even say the real oath - he's not the real President!  That was no accident, Roberts saved the Union!
