Man Flies Plane into Austin IRS Building:
BTW:  I'm not a conspiracist but did you notice that the Piper Cherokee with only 40 gallons of fuel on board caused a bigger building fire in Austin IRS than did the Boeing 757 Jumbo with over 10,000 gallons of long burning jet fuel on board that went into to Pentagon. And did you notice in the pictures released by Bush  that the Pentagon fire was relatively small given that amount of fuel carried by the B-757 -- the building in Austin was about 6 stories and maybe 200,000 sq. feet and was totally destroyed by a small plane with 40 gallons of gas...

very interesting.......also, the large turbo-fan B-787 jet engines (2) over 8 feet in diameter were never located at the Pentagon--the Bush party line was that they "burned up in the fire"---these engines have titanium blades which easily handled up to 5000 deg F while running (the average temp of burning kerosene is about 1200 deg F).

---the Piper Cherokee engine was lying beside the building and was easily located by the firefighting crew and news guys on the scene in Austin.......the Piper engine is about the size of a big Harley engine.....

very interesting..... it WASN"T BURNED UP by the hotter burning 120 Octane Gas (2000 deg F) used by small planes

---very interesting--what did Bush / Cheney know and when did they know it-------.

Lets see, we spend about $800 billion per year doing what NO OTHER COUNTRY tries to do--we try to police every little basket case country and their little brush fire wars at a huge cost. NO OTHER COUNTRY even helps us out to any extent. The Europeans really get a free ride. Recently Obama had the good sense to stop the ridiculous "Missile Defense Systems" that Bush had started. The Europeans howled that Obama was pulling out on them--SCREW that, if the Europeans want a missile shield--- WHY DO WE HAVE TO BUILD IT FOR THEM???????  IF THEY WANT A BUNCH OF EXPENSIVE MISSILES--LET THEM BUILD THEM AND MAN THEM.  Its time for us to scale back our expenses on all theses ships, planes, guns, etc. then we could maybe have a good healthcare system like the Europeans.  We can no longer afford to police the whole world.

Dick Cheney is a War Criminal and should be tried by the military courts for his role in trumping up the war in Iraq which killed thousands of US GI's and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens (mostly women / children) just because
Cheney/Bush wanted to give the Big Oil companies their FREE oil (paid for by the US Taxpayers--the oil will also go to Europe, India, and China who DID NOT pay anything).

Now www.mydd.com is saluting Big Oil Obama for taking up the Bush / Cheney Nazi cause of stomping all over and killing innocent people (i.e. 12 civilians were killed on Monday in Afghanistan). Maybe Obama will ultimately be tried for war crimes....

I submit the name in nomination for the Democrat Senate seat of Mr. Bayh---the most famous son of Hoosier Land----Davidddddd Lettermmmmmmannnn.......

  • This is so lame--Why isn't Cheney tried and enprisoned for ordering the murder of over 100,000 innocent women, men, and children in Iraq. Bush should be in jail too.  Just another example this "Empty Suit" Obama administration. Do we have 3 more years of this "do nothing" ethic of these Clinton retreads. Maybe in 3 years Obama will join those past Presidents who were "one-termers" like Carter and Bush Sr.......I fear that if 20 million mainly Democratic voters are still unemployed in November, that we will lose all the gains that we made in 2006......all for the lack of innovation, initiative, and involvement on the part of Obama...

  • Please append what I said--you will be correct--I "will" vote in 2012 if Hillary is the nominee. I will even work hard for her. Thanks for putting me straight....

  • I wish I could share your patience. 2009 was the year to get many things in play and much needed legislation on the books. My father worked for Pres. Johnson and it sadden's me to see how Obama wastes valuable political time. LBJ in 1965 (his first year as an elected president to get over 600 laws passed) especially Voting Rights, laws important to labor, reforms, farm legislation, and a bunch of other laws that were backed up all the way back to Eisenhower's admin.  Obama missed the window. We had a good chance to elect a Democrat as governor of Texas because of the momentum in early 2009. Now the Republicraps are almost a lock to win. Also, we are going to lose the majorities we have in the Texas Legislature and that will really screw us on the redistricting for the 2010 Census. I don't care how much Obama's apologist's rant here that it's not his fault--IT IS HIS FAULT.....I'm not going to work for him in 2012. I'm just going to try to do damage control by working for local Dems to try to hold on to our gains in 2006/2008.Because of his inaction and his love of "concensus" politics I think we will all have to work hard to hold on to the gains we have made.....

  • Actually, Obama has ONE success story. He has turned me from a hardworking poll working Democrat into one who will definitely be home for the election of 2012 should he be the Democrat nominee. I would never vote GOP. When he started out in 2008 we had things really moving. No body wanted any more GW Bush's policies, we owned Congress, etc.

Now look at where we are--since it gets more apparent every day that Healthcare is stopped.  I believe that Obama has put us in a situation where the Healthcare/Medical industry is empowered to the extent that they feel that NO ONE even a President will ever try to beat/reform them again.  Obama has pretty much destroyed any chance of any industry being regulated---they all know now they HE WILL BACK DOWN and they don't have to......what a sad situation when the President has become a eunoch....

  • That is way off the mark.  I and many other worked very hard in the trenches for Obama's election. I'm not asking for any medals or recognition but we live in Texas and we were pretty successful given that this state has more rightwingnuts than any place else. We got 4 million Democrats to come out to vote for Barack and Hillary in the primary-- then they voted for him in the general. We got lots of traction in local races for judges, county sheriff, etc. due to the turnout and down ballot.

So far our efforts are have been almost totally wasted. In addition, now because of his infatuation with the Republicans, Wall Street bankers, healthcare CEO's, war mongers, etc.  we are quickly getting to a tipping point where all those gains will be wiped out.  If he doesn't start acting like a strong President the Dems here are going to stay home in 2010/2012.  At this point you will not see me working for Obama in 2012.....

This is another case of an very unorganized administration. Its Obama's role to get these jobs filled. He doesn't have a clue.....

  • An a big waste of time.  He probably should enroll in a time management class. I think we are on the track to lose the Senate in 2010 and perhaps the whole Congress in 2012 due to this dilly-dallying that he does will be the reason.....

  • After a year of saying "NO" to Obama, does he really think these people are going to change?  NO WAY!!! These GOP'er just use these meetings with Obama to put him down and raise money from right-wing racist donors.   Obama needs to stop wasting his time and that of the people who need this healthcare reform.......I ask this "Did you ever remember G W Bush asking the Dems for anything or to play nice--NO!! he did what all rational Presidents do--he plowed ahead." Obama needs to run over these guys--throw the long ball and get the ball in the endzone -- I'm still a big Obama fan but this is a waste of time.....

Have you seen how much these clowns are charging to go to their so-called convention?  Well, it $550 door cover charge. That should keep out the rif-raff middle class unwashed masses....Tea Party is a joke....my wifes best friend is a school teacher (you all know how much money they make) -- she and her hubby joined the TeaParty last year--I get great fun telling her how these Bozo's will cut her pay if they get in power......BTW---They PAID SARA PALIN $100,000 show up money to say a few words to the crazies who are rich enough to pay the $550.00 plus travel and hotel etc. to go to this RICHMAN"S  tax break kick off meeting.....

Obama best stay on track now.  We've heard his malarky before--a ton of campaign statements which turned out to be thin air. Today's announcement that he will accept the big bonus payments to the AIG criminals is crazy. I have progressive friends i.e. labor union people here telling me that he is going to cost us the control of Congress--that is scary--complete gridlock when that happens we go thru the same crap with the Repubs in control that we had with Clinton--they spend all their time and our money trying to find a way to impeach him and put HIM in jail. Obama must really be easy--I don't think he realizes that this is a real problem. Why doesn't he send Holder to Federal court and indict these AIG crooks for fraud, embezzelment, illegal conversion of government property, etc.  Then you will see his approval rating go thru the roof.....its really sad to see him cowtowing to all these special groups except the people who voted for him. If he allows AIG to collect those bonuses, I'm leaving the Democratic party.......he can close it down when he get voted out in 2012......

  • comment on a post Republican National Committee rejects "purity test" over 4 years ago

In Obama's long/futile/and never ending quest to find a middle ground Republican to join him in a photo ops, Obama should look to the membership of the RNC for a helping hand from these guys. Just reading this is emotional--the RNC is now turned liberal--Obama may have found his nirvania.

Maybe, these RNC fellows are really much like Obama actually--They say no to progress and Obama takes no action to gain any progress--its a swell combination...
