Hillary Campain staff endorses Fox News for being fair

Its like watching a car crash, then seeing the survivors get out of the car only to be run over by a semi truck.

Doesn't the HRC campaign realize she is antagonizing Democrats and at the same time asking for her nomination?

IF they are willing to pander to Fox now, I can't imagine the love fest we can expect to see.

Someone tell me which of Clinton's employees is attacking Fox?

So Fox is fair and balanced when helping Hillary, but when they smear obama or prop up McCain that doesn't count?

Im guessing there will be someone else praising the pittsburgh review tribune or the Washington Times?

JRE wouldn't even talk with Fox.  I don't think Hillary will be getting an endorsement from the Edwards any time soon.

Re: Hillary Campain staff endorses Fox

Can you blame the Clinton campaign???

Is Keith O giving her a fair shake?

Is Chris Matthews giving her unbias coverage?

Is Donna Brazile giving her balance reporting?

Name me one MSM who is NOT bias for Obama ?

Its hard enough being outspent 4 to 1.

But when the airwaves are filled with media men & women practicing Political Affirmative Action- How in the world can you beat that.

For media employees who are being paid $300,000 to $750,000 a year to be fair & balance. But to turnaround & show blatant bias.

Sorry but Clinton should get & find any coverage she can get.

Come November, the GOP will not allow MSNBC & CNN to manipulate the airwaves. That's for sure

Re: Hillary Campain staff endorses Fox

Uhh,  hmmm.

With that thinking she should consider speaking at the RNC convention.

Fox news is a propoganda arm of the RNC, to think ANYTHING less than that makes you either insane or a closet republican.

This is the Fox news you are giving a pass to right now!:

THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE DEFENDING?

As of Sunday, Obama had spent $3.6 million in the state to Clinton's $1.3 million, according to data compiled by TNS Media Intelligence/Campaign Media Analysis Group. 3-1 is bad enough, we will see the toltals in a day or so.

Re: Hillary Campain staff endorses Fox

More than "fair," I'd say dramatically biased in Hillary's favor right now are:

Stephanopoulous, Gibson, Scarborough, Dobbs, Buchanan, and oftentimes, Tweety (though he's all over the place).

Re: I have to bring up the following...

That's what Matthews and Olbermann are doing to Hillary Clinton and she's a Democrat.

Re: I have to bring up the following...

so by picking one Democrat over the other they are crushing Democrats like Fox does.

Wake up!

You would rather have right wing propoganda as long as it doesn't hurt Hillary's feelings?

Like I said, Murdoch is laughing his ass off right now.

God, you got to give the Republicans some credit, they beat us everytime.

Its easy, Democrats lose with Hillary's pandering to the right wing.

The media.....

is corporate...got it? The media is bull shit, IMO whether it's FOX, MSNBC or CNN. You like the media because for the most part, they're supporting your candidate...for now. You may feel differently down the road.

The media that you like so much is the same media that marched us off to war.

IMO, Matthews plays the race card....

He stated that the 3 AM commercial has racial undertones in it. I don't know what he's talking about.

by soyousay 2008-04-23 04:08PM | 0 recs
Re: IMO, Matthews plays the race card....

No he said it had REPUBLICAN overtones, IE FEAR PROPOGANDA.

Every democrat rejected that add as the most silliest ad ever.

Its an embarrassment to the national conversation.

If you believe in Republican framing of issues then I suggest you work for them because that ad is right up their ally.

and he also stated it had racial undertones.

Re: IMO, Matthews plays the race card....

Isn't racism a product of fear?

I could give you the racial slant on it but whats the point, there is not one Dem strategist that didn't see that ad as anything more than a failure.

The ad also cost her superdelegates.

If you are proud of that ad then I think you will be delighted with the upcoming ones from McCain.

by GeorgeP922 2008-04-23 04:38PM | 0 recs
Re: IMO, Matthews plays the race card....

Whether the commercial was good enough is debatable. It work because Clinton won in Texas, Ohio, RI and IMO, it achieved it's objective; therefore the commercial was good.

In reference to whether the commercial had racial undertones...I don't see it; Matthews is out there, IMO.

So, is it going to be a shock when Scaife and Fox start peddling smears against Clinton in the fall?  I'm just curious how shortsighted people are.

Re: Hillary Campain staff endorses Fox News for

oh no, then they will expect all democrats to once again join them in an uproar when they realize Fox doesn't like democrats, none of em.

but let it go, Fox is fair and balanced.

you could do what i do, either save or the quote or the link for future references to remind HRC supporters how much they love Fox News.

by TruthMatters 2008-04-23 03:47PM | 0 recs
Re: Hillary Campain staff endorses Fox News for

The problem with stuff like this is it helps legitimize them. Then when the smears come it sounds like you're only reacting to the smears.

Frankly, Fox are the worst but I'm pretty unimpressed with most of the rest at this point too.

Rachel Maddow being one of the few exceptions -- I've seen clips of her making Joe Scarbrough cry when she doled out the Trout Of Truth[tm].

Ok, and that makes her an enemy of the Democrats?

Also, incase you didn't know, she is a radio host and it is her job to show her opinion.

The GOP is set to run anti-Obama ads in North Carolina. When the GOP targets a specific Dem during a Dem *PRIMARY*, it should tell us something. Of coure, McCain denounces it. Apparently, they don't respect their own presidential nominee enough to not air it though...

As far as I have heard she has still not condemned the NC RNC ad, even though the national RNC and McCain have condemned it.

Why is she waiting?

Why are Hillary supporters even for a moment giving Fox a pass, that to me is a disturbing trend.

I encourage you to watch the videos above, and if it makes you mad as it should EVERY AMERICAN then look at the whole collection.

Re: Hillary Campain staff endorses Fox News for be

Hillary's not stupid... She has to know that Fox is using her... I guess she thinks that she can use them and make them "careful what they wish for"...

But, in the meantime, legitimizing this "news" agency is very damaging for the Democratic Party and progressive principles as a whole.

What happened to the Fox blackout, it was done for real reasons.

There was a good reason

for the FOX blackout. They hate Democrats, and just about everybody knows it. I have had FOX blocked on my remote for a long time. But the sad truth is that they hate both of our candidates equally, and have been giving more even-handed coverage during this primary. That's not a compliment on FOX, it's a sad commentary on MSNBC, and CNN to a lesser degree. If we are going to talk about boycotting a station because they are being grossly unfair to a Democratic candidate, which is what Hillary Clinton is the last time I looked, then MSNBC would be at the top of that list in a true progressive world for their blatant sexist commentary. To prop up MSNBC because they are obviously pro-Obama, while boycotting FOX because they dislike them both is beyond hypocritical.

Re: Hillary Campain staff endorses Fox News for be

Lets see a 30 second ad made by republicans and you say its TRUE. The goal is to destroy the democrats CHANCES OF WINNING IN NOVEMBER.

If you think Black America hates White America you need to stop voting Democrat RIGHT NOW...

If you think Pastor Wright hates America you need to stop voting Democrat... At least he cared enough to become a Marine and graduate at the top of his class to be on the staff treating the president.  At least he decided to lead in his community, and I am sure thats a hell of a lot more your ever gonna do in your life for this country.

GET IT YET???

You cannot form an alliance with Republicans Trust me they are NOT TRYING TO HELP US!!!

You want Hillary to win you have to convince people to LIKE HER not hate HIM...

FOX Better Than MSNBC

MSNBC, along with Matthews, Russert, Dowd, Sullivan, Huffington, Rich, are doing the same thing to Clinton that they did to Gore.

Re: FOX Better Than MSNBC

Again I have never known of NBC or CNN to have stated political goals.

By supporting fox you are supporting the heart of Neocons, is that were you are at?

My god, are you also implying that if Hillary gets the nom, that Fox is going to be more fair to her in November???

That throws out your silly Gore argument

Re: Hillary Campain staff endorses Fox News for be

Pop quiz - If I told you about my affection for guns, labeled a democrat an elitist, talked about obliterating Iran, told you that McCain has passed the Commander in Chief test, used Osama bin laden in my TV ads, and called Fox fair and balanced, which campaign would I be?

Hint - this campaign does not represent a republican candidate.
