Romney commits the gaffe of the campaign, calls McCain a gigolo!

God bless Mitt Romney.

Multiple Mansion Mitt, when asked about McCain's houses, offered this stirring defense:

Speaking to reporters at a lunch sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor, Romney said that while McCain deserved his houses because of the "hard work" of himself and his family, "Barack Obama got a special deal from a convicted felon."

"Hard work" now includes dumping your long-suffering wife for a much younger heiress?

"convicted felon"

HA!

McSame used to vacation with Charlie Keating, and before SugarMama bought BeerForce One, they would use  Charlie's private plane.  He even got in trouble cuz he failed to include the free trips in his discloser reports.

Don't forget McCain's houses were gifts from felon

father-in-law.

That's really some

hard work!

err ...

Since when is being born into wealth "hard work"?

McCain wasn't born into wealth.

He married into it.

By cheating on his long-suffering wife.

Thanks for opening that door, Mitt.

Re: Romney commits the gaffe

Are you being serious? You know, I hate defending Republicans, but when I see ridiculous diaries I have no choice, because to me, it's an embarrassment.

Also another reason why Romney is a good match against Biden in a debate, Romney defended his own home ownership with this quote:

Asked how many homes Romney owns (he is worth hundreds of millions of dollars) Romney said: "Four, one less than John Kerry," the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee. One of Romney's homes, by the way, is in Deer Valley, Utah.

I still think he will NOT be chosen though.

What did John McCain do to deserve

his 13 homes?

And please don't mention Vietnam.

Re: What did John McCain do to deserve

Frankly, I don't care. McCain can have all the houses he wants, but that tells me nothing about the way he will govern.

The point is that Willard opened

the door on discussing HOW John McCain got those houses.

He got those houses by dishonoring his marriage and betraying his wife.

Re: Romney commits the gaffe

Okay, so if he were running against John Kerry that might be a problem. Republicans love fighting old  battles.

Re: Romney commits the gaffe

Republicans love fighting old  battles.

Which is the major flaw in the Republican Party. They have a lack of vision.

Re: Romney commits the gaffe of the campaign, call

Romney won't be the VP..... Tom Ridge maybe, but not Romney.

Biden will do well against Ridge, but I think Ridge could hold his own.

Romney is not a great debator, so yeah, he'd get his clock cleaned..

Since when do these VP debates really matter... Its mostly for show.  The real debate that matters is the first presidential debate.  All the others traditionally have very little effect on the electorate.

Ugh

Its not even signifigant..

Romney won't be VP.  He had a pro-choice history and is Mormon, neither of which will sit well with some conservative Republicans.  He brought some interesting things to the table, such as fundraising, new voters, and economic experience.. but McCain can't benifit from his fundraising in such a short time and the possible new Mormon voters Romney will get won't offset the pro-life voters who will be upset..

If McCain is going to choose a pro-life candidate it will be someone he likes, not Romney.

Thus I really see no signifigance from anything Romney says because it won't be even considered in just a couple days from now when McCain selects another person as his VP.

It opens the door to McCain's

adultery and betrayal of his first wife.

Because that's how John McCain got those houses.
