63

When thinking about what the blogosphere wanted in terms of House Races.
Chris Bowers stated that he would like the DCCC to Target 80 Republican held seats. http://www.mydd.com/story/2005/1/27/1336 29/315
With 3 weeks left to go in the election  a quick look at the DCCC Website shows they are at least publically committed to support 63 Candidates a tad short of 80 but still much much then last cycle.  What is even more encouraging is that after the most recent additons to ther emerging race list. The DCCC and the Netroots are both supporting 12 of the same candidates. The Netroots page is only actively supporting 14 Candidates so we are almost completely on the same page.[I would argue we are Gary Trauner away from being completely  on the same page] This is a clear effort by the DCCC to put as many seats as possible into play. I would also like to offer the blogosphere the next 17 races in order of chance of flipping. That will be on the flip. But 63 is still an incredible number.
