People who love Bush love her. People who were already going to vote for McCain love her. There was very, very little moderate/ independent appeal in a sarcastic, nasty speech like that. Moderates and independents who look at her actual record will find her even less appealing.
I haven't spoken with a single Clinton supporter who is remotely enticed by McCain now that he has picked his trophy VP. In fact, most females I know feel it is an insulting choice. Trying to rope in Clinton supporters by choosing a woman who was mayor of a town of 5000 18 months ago? Just because she is attractive?!? Good luck with that.
