well in my first comment I pretty specifically pointed out that I was talking about this diary and another on this topic with Nazi references. so if making references to specific diaries is personal than I guess I am guilty as charged.
some seem to think that they have a monopoly on public discourse... things like evidence, rational analysis, historical accuracy, context, all these things are very disturbing to some here.
there are two sides to this conflict, yet to some this cannot be tolerated. instead we get the stereotyped slogans & hyperbole borrowed from extremists on both sides of this conflict (often word for word i might add) it seems that to some what is most important in this debate is being smug, self-righteous, & holier-than-thou rather than discussing the numerous and serious problems in achieving peace in this region with some semblance of balance.
perhaps when the hypocrisy & double-standards disappear i'll feel differently but for now its not looking like this community cares enough about this issue to flush out those who would poison the discourse.
