I think Celeb worked fabulously, from a purely political, winning-at-all-cost standpoint. It was a stunt, yeah, and it had obvious racial implications, but it certainly put the Obama camp back on its heels for a week or two. Fortunately the Obama camp was just better at everything. So where McCain could only do well, Obama could do amazing.
I think we might be missing the point of this post a little bit. I don't hold Palin responsible for what her supporters say, I hold her responsible for not denouncing hate speech when she clearly heard it.
The point was also not to talk about weird inter-blog conflicts from the primary, I don't really know where that came from.
Trollish post. The role of sexism in this campaign has hardly been one where it has been manifested in the campaign of Barack Obama. Rather, its role has been much more as a tool to convince people that the election has been stolen from Hillary Clinton because she is female.
