And taxpayers should pay for abortions why? How is it my responsbility as a taxpayer to pay for someone who doesnt choose to use birth control or abstain from sex when they choose to have an abortion? It isnt...and the founders woudl be shocked to know that any federal or taxpayer money was used to fund such behavior.
We are talkign about serious budget deficits, yet we are unwilling to seriously address them. How can we say we are when we cant even pass a budget with a measly $60 Billion cut? Its chumo change in a $3.83 trillion dollar budget. They ought to be cutting at least $150 Billion from this budget and they could except for the fact they dont want to cut out the pork. I am so sick of this nonsense.
This may be the single stupidest post I have seen. We are going to nitpick the woman using an expression simpkly because we dont eat leavened bread during Passover? Give it a rest...makes you look awfully silly..
The problem with this whole thing is, the bill is deeply flawed, uses all sorts of smoke and mirrors, doesnt actually lower cost or in the long run improve access or qaulity care. This bill is a pig with lipstick. Further on average 55% of the american public has stated their objection to this bill. They have also expressed their anger over what they rightly see as all sorts of closed door deals, rule bending and the like. So not only is this bill a piece of crap but Americans are hip to the fact that its a piece of crap and that the Democratic party is attempting to give us what we dont want. Add to that the fact that Obama with said during the campaign that he would support mandates, wouldnt support a bill without public option, wouldnt support reform that would not be cost effective. He mocked Hillary on the mandate. He wouldnt support the Wyden Bennett Act becuase he said it would be too hard to pass, rather he chose to support a bill loaded with insurance company giveaways.
If they pass this bill, I am dont with this party and the President. I will support a 3rd party and work to see that every incumbent is voted from office. We are trillions in debt and these guy are trying to pass a deeply flawed bill that will do nothing but increase the debt.
By the way, I know a boat load more about healthcare than probably 90 percent of the public having worked on the issue, having family members who are physicians, nurses, policy makers and the lot. I have studied the issue for years. Single payer doesnt work efficient anywhere in the world. Its cheap because care is difficult to receive in a timely fashion. Its cheap because services in other countries are denied....keep peddling the socialist talking points.....americans arent buying it.
Your side supported and created the welfare state....your side supported taking more and more money from the pockets of the american people, your side votes for anything that tales money from the american tax payer and emboldens our enemies...so save the holier than though attitude? Your just another blind liberal...
And you sir are an ignoramus, who has been brainwashed by the liberal left into believing that Government is the answer to everything, that Americans are too stupid think for themselves and to do for themselves. You foolishly believe that the Government has the right to our money, that everyon should be provided for and that we cant do our ourselves. Just pathetic....
The US Government has no business running healthcare. You use road building as an example? That pretty poor. You use the soon to be bankrupt social security, medicare and broken welfare systems as an example of success? You just arent rational.
Malpractice suits and injury awards need to be capped. We have good doctors in this country leaving the profession becuase they cant afford the malpractice insurance. We have costs being driven up because good doctors are ordering unnecessary tests and exams simply to cover their own hides from unwarranted suits. Fact is they are right,we need malpractice reform. Further there are more and more experts pointing out the fact that we dont need a dramatic change in healthcare, we dont need a universal or single payer system. There are numerous options available to dramatically reduce costs and improve accessibility. Unfortunately for those demanding single payer they are to blinded to the facts to be listening.
yes land of the dumb and driven stupid enought to vote a man into office who believes that spending and bailing out billion dollar corporations and protecting his cronies is in our nations interest. They forced us to hand billions to GM and Chrysler only to have them declare bankruptcy. Now he want us to spend a trillion more on a radical health care scheme. The rest of the world is laughing at our stupidity. Liberals are like lambs to the slaughter.....
