"Bitter" Democrats Got Last Laugh Tonight

Well folks,

As a White Catholic Male of Irish & Italian ancestry. A proud democrat & proud Union leader. All I want to say tonight is...

We " Bitter" working class white people GOT THE LAST LAUGH tonight.

We let our Dads, Moms, Wives, Husbands, Grandparents, cousins, neighbors, friends, gumbas, paisanos, sons & daughters do the talking in the BALLOT Box.

We came out with the Highest Turnout in PA primary history. Higher than even Governor Rendell's historic run or even Dad Casey's run.

We Catholics gave a resounding LANDSLIDE 70% vote for Madame Hillary Clinton.

We "bitter" working class folks gave a LANDSLIDE  2 to 1 victory for Madame Clinton tonight.

And Yes, even our Jewish-American brothers & sisters of PA gave Madame Clinton a landslide 2 to 1 victory tonight among Jewish voters.

Yes Sir Obama, we bitter, gun loving , working class democrats are the SAME PEOPLE that buried you in Ohio, Texas, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Florida and New York.

And yes Sir, we will do it AGAIN just for you in Indiana, West Virginia, & Kentucky.

And if you still CANNOT RESPECT us &  REACH OUT to us "bitter" working class people, We will send you another Big Message in the BALLOT BOX in November through John McCain.

We White Reagan Democrats delivered PA,NJ,OH,MO,CA,FL,AR,OK,TN to the Republican Party in 1988 & help deliver a landslide defeat of Dukakis.

A 20 year anniversary may be a fitting gift in 2008.

You Got Enough problems with Latino & Asian voters. The last thing you want is cross swords with us bitter poor white people.

Yes, we are hurting. Yes, many of us are in pain. But make no mistake about, we shall survive.

Lets get on thing straight Sir Obama.

Elitists on MyDD?

Was amazed to log on and find a slew of diaries and comment's attacking Barack Obama for pointing out that regular people - you know, working class and hard-pressed middle class folks are having a tough time in today's economy, and are bitter about it.  Actually bitter, IMHO is too soft a word; pissed off and angry, worried and frightened is more like it.

Was almost amused at the attacks on Senator Obama for being an elitist, except it isn't really funny.  Of the three people running for office, only one has known economic hard times;  Barack Obama.  Granted, he is now upper middle class, but certainly can't be counted as part of the multi-millionaire crowd.

Made me curious about who posts here.  Hence the poll.

Factory Workers at Sunrise

Sen. Hillary Clinton arrived before dawn today to greet the morning shift at the Jeep factory plant in Toledo, Ohio.

It was 5:30 am and still dark outside as she shook hands and smiled at the workers during their shift change.

This is nothing, you may be tempted to think. It's only a line in the newspaper, another little photo op for a political candidate.

Think again.

Working people reward those who are willing to share their hours and address their issues. I know this because when I read that story I thought about my Mom, and I remembered my childhood.

Impeachment? The Man Behind the Curtain.

We need to get to the person or persons behind the curtain. Bush is the image they want us to see. There are so many others that are UNTOUCHABLE! When I made one hundred thousand dollars a year from my job, over twenty thousand dollars a year was paid out as taxes. Were did this money go and why do I have to still pay the I.R.S. two hundred and fifty dollars a month from my medical social security? We are being miss-lead in more then just one direction. The War in Iraq, Drugs being Bought and Sold to finance the War and the U.S. deficit, UFO's and/or contact from outer worlds, Former assassination deaths of Presidents, Reasons behind the 9/11 Attacks, The Patriot Bill and the loss of Constitutional rights of being an American, The right to Bare Arms, Education and the lie behind the No Child Left Behind, Blood Diamonds and OIL wars, I.R.S. There are too, too many to list. We the American people wanted the U.S. to excel and become a strong country. We felt we are doing the proper thing by letting Men and Women who showed Political promise through Education to fill these jobs of HONOR, to help control the U.S. while we the working class worked jobs, created jobs and helped our neighbor the non-working with welfare only to be educated ourselves finding that instead of helping the non-working class American, Laws and Acts of war with in our own country are causing people to become ticking time bombs at our Grade Schools, High Schools, Universities and in public places. President Carter's speech of over 25 years ago said it best and I quote:

<The destruction of our confidence in the future is threatening to destroy the social and political fabric of America. The Confidence that we have always had as a people is not simply some romantic dream or a proverb in a dusty book that we read just on the fourth of July, it is the idea that founded our nation on the variety of our development that as a people, confidence in our future would support everything else.</p>

We have always believed in something called <progress> we have always had faith that the days of our very children would be better than our own. But our own people are losing that faith.

For the first time in the history of this country, the majority of its people believe that the next five years will be worse then the past five years.

We have always been taught that our armies were always invincible and that our causes were always just. Only to suffer the agony of Vietnam.  

We respected the Presidency as a place of Dignity until the shock of Watergate.  

We need to stop crying and start sweating. Stop talking and start walking. Working together with our common faith we can not fail>.
From the time President Carter wrote this, the years of our people losing their faith has increased from five to thirty. If I am thanking my U.S. troops for the reasons that have become apparent today, we have knowingly put them in harms way and possibly worse. Our troops should be protecting us not only from danger with-out but danger from with-in. The Declaration of Independents and the Constitution of the United States has taken on radical changes of appendages and removals to only promote power for the current Government. I bring attention to the true meaning of Governments from the Declaration itself.

<That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, -- That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness>.  We are at that stage with this current Government, it has become destructive to its means of the governed or people, and it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute a new Government laying its foundation on the principles and organizing its powers to protect the governed or people, for the means of Safety and Happiness.  The children of today are our last hope and our last founding fathers for our world. We can not continue of having a Professional Crime Syndicate acting as our current Government to bring down our last hope. "May God rest our souls in this age upon the world, for it may be the last prayer or act of love that we will be able to give".
