Clinton looks in danger of following the fateful path of the neocons

There aren't many elected officials in Washington who want to throw the gauntlet down on Iran more than Hillary Clinton. The New York senator believes the president has been too soft on the militant Islamic country, claiming that Bush has played down the threat of a nuclear-armed Tehran."I believe we lost critical time in dealing with Iran because the White House chose to downplay the threats and to outsource the negotiations," Clinton told an audience at Princeton University on Jan. 18. "I don't believe you face threats like Iran or North Korea by outsourcing it to others and standing on the sidelines. ... We cannot and should not - must not - permit Iran to build or acquire nuclear weapons," Clinton added. "In order to prevent that from occurring ... we must move as quickly as feasible for sanctions in the United Nations."
Sen. Clinton has attempted to out-hawk Dubya on other foreign policy matters, as well. From Iraq to Palestine, the Democratic Party's leading lady argues that the current administration has not done enough to combat the threat of terrorism. And like so many other neoconservatives (yes, admit it, Hillary is a bloody neocon), Clinton will never admit that the United States has fallen right into the grasp of al-Qaeda by attempting to fight stateless terror by walloping sovereign Mideast countries
A terrible foreign policy and human rights record in the Senate is a sufficient basis upon which the Obama camp can go negative. Tax returns bedamned. Just tell the truth.
In a recent Daily Kos diary, Ten Reasons Not to Vote for Hillary Clinton (Mon Feb 04, 2008), fromtheleft listed several foreign policy reasons why Hillary is likely to follow in George Bush's footsteps and keep the United States in a state of war in the Middle East. On the matter of Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, and Israel-Palestine, Hillary's votes on matters relating to foreign policy in the Senate have followed a right wing agenda: stay the course in Iraq, bomb Iran's nuclear facilities, and continue Israel's efforts to complete colonization of the West Bank.
Self-identified Democrats choose Hillary Clinton, 56%-40%, according to a new Public Policy Polling survey.
The Case Against Hillary Clinton
Being a good president means being able to make the correct decisions. It means having a vision of where you want the country to go that benefits the vast majority of Americans -- not the War Establishment, not the Banking Industry, not Transnational Corporations, at the expense of the ordinary citizens. It means enhancing civil liberties, not depriving the public from them. It means having both experience and a proven track record in dealing competently with crises. In short, being a good president means having good judgment.
Hillary Clinton has "experience", perhaps (primarily as a mendacious U.S. Senator), but it's experience with making the wrong decisions and displaying incredibly poor judgment.
Truth
LIES and the road to Hell
______
As Dwight Eisenhower warned back in 1960, our American government -- actually our entire American society -- is dominated by the permanent, extra-Constitutional, Military-Industrial-Complex that was thrust upon us following the end of WWII (by the International Banking Cartel, Wall Street, and Defense Industries).
This is why the United States, after the close of WWII, has been fighting an absurdly long, endless list of undeclared proxy Wars in Foreign Nations all around the globe (quite unnecessarily), both overtly and covertly (and, done so in the service of the financial self-interests of U.S. transnational Corporations). This is why we have 750 U.S. Military Bases located in 130 Countries all around the World. The War-Establishment trumps-up poor, impoverished nations as these "great threats to our security" distracting both Washington politicians and the American people from thinking about all the waste, all the lies, all the unnecessary bloodshed, and all the Orwellian-control of our society, as our own Nation is plunged into debt and bankruptcy, while the War-Profiteers get rich, and the real "National security problem" for our Country is that China and Saudi Arabia are now required to keep the entire U.S. monetary system afloat.
