What's really going to happen....

a few things.

1. Obama has the delegates.(He will get the nomination.)

2. Obama has 2.5 million donors.  With that many people who are also able to share wealth with the DNC, he's got a lot of clout. (He will get the nomination.)

3. Many of Hillary's supporters will return to being Republicans Nov. 4th, 2008. (even if she were the nominee) However, we know Obama will get the nomination.

Hillary,

That is reality.  Go to the convention, argue a false point (and it really is.  It saddens me that many of your supporters don't have the resources to discover the truth) and lose the election for your party.  Then explain to your female supporters why the Supreme Court cancels their right to choose.  Also explain why they are continuing to lose sons and daughters in the war and why gas prices simply won't go down.

Top 3 Clues Hillary Has Already Lost.

#1 McCain targets Obama - Republicans, as has been noted so emphatically and frequently on MyDD, are shrewd with their own money.  The fact that McCain and the Republican machine has begun to attack Obama can only mean that they believe he will inevitably get the nomination.

#2 It's the delegates, stupid -  Obama has a 150 point delegate lead.  PA was Hillary's last chance to make a dent in this lead and she only netted 10-12 delegates.  With just over 300 supers left and no other large winnable primaries, Hillary cannot score enough of the remaining delegates to catch up.

#3 Obama targets McCain - Obama no longer sees Hillary as a threat.  He understands that the nomination is just a waiting game at this point, so why waste time and money arguing with Hillary about his pastor, when he could be arguing with McCain about the economy, ending the war... and his pastor.

If anyone has a realistic path to nomination for Hillary that doesn't involve destroying the Democratic party, please post it.

Lost that Loving Feeling

I am a hundred percent disabled veteran who has lost total faith in my government.  It all started right after 9-11 when as tragic as it was, the government took the tragic events to completely take this country back hundreds of years in our civil rights, with the media's help (using fear).  This is not the country that I now live in constant pain with that I supported during my time in the Army.  I want so much to get involved in politics but don't even know where to start.  There is a lot I would like to say and need to say.  Any suggestion?  If you would like to know more just let me know.
