In the defense of Rev Wright

What I want to try is to look at the situation from his perspective. One thing very important about him is that he is retired and as a result is in "legacy mode". Now I am asking you, when you have worked all your life to build your church and attain a certain degree of prominence in your community, do you want to be remembered as Obama's Crazy uncle and Divisive FORMER pastor. Do you want to be the guy that Obama had to overcome to become president? That sounds like an awfully bad deal to me.

Obama remained with him for 20 years in the church and never had a bad word about it, and suddenly when it becomes politically convenient, he is walking all over him (as much as you can after 20 years of attendance).

I may understand Obama for wanting to throw him out, but I also understand Rev Wright for resisting.

(New Video)Pastor Wright's Fierce Anti-semitism Tirade

Every Jewis American needs to watch this clip, especially those more liberal Jewish democrats(Steve M?). This is really really scary stuff.

The pattern should be very unsettling for Jews. Dailykooks is becoming a magnet for anti-semitism liberals encouraged by the leaders of that site(Will some of them jump up and down if Israel is wiped off the map?); Obama's 20-year spiritual mentor Pastor Wright's vicious anti-semitism sentiment as demonstrated by a variety of sermons; Obama is surrounded by the most anti-Israel foreign policy advisors in recent history.

If I were a Jew, I would be very very worrie once Obama and his cronies got to the Wright House. Every Jewish voter needs to watch Pastor Wright's sermon before you press the button for Obama. It's about your destiny, your future.
