What will Rezko Do if Convicted?

Hi, this is my first diary, I've been lurking a while, ever since KOS became an Obama echo chamber.  

I just started reading a bit of a series of articles written by Evelyn Pringle on the whole story behind the Rezko corruption trial and Patrick Fitzgerald's criminal investigation of the corruption pyramid behind this trial.  It seems that Rezko is only one of the indictees of his probe, many others have pleaded guilty and agreed to co-operate in his investigation in exchange for leniency.

It's a huge series of articles and I've only begun to read them but my question is: is this reporter Pringle a legit journalist or a hack for political operatives?

Things just aren't going too well for Sen. Obama lately and the poll numbers are showing the trend, as are the favorability numbers. Electability is the only game in this town. Everything else pales in comparison. Hillary is coming on strong as the best candidate for the fall election against Sen. McCain.

It isn't just one thing with Obama, it's a bunch of things. Right now, though, the media just happens to be concentrating on one thing--Rev. Wright. Once they get tired of that one, there are a bunch of other issues to focus on. That's why he can't be our nominee. Someone like Rove would have so many goodies to choose from.

The Democratic Party consists of two warring factions, and the precarious coalition that forms the Party is on the verge of splitting apart. Working class whites are not naive to Obama's shenanigans. They've watched as the Obama team has smeared perhaps the most racially progressive president in our history as a racist, and they've seen Obama ridicule their concerns, faith, and culture.

The Obama campaign would like the superdelegates to believe that African Americans will revolt if Obama is not given the nomination. The more likely outcome-and this has actually been quantified, is that working-class whites will go with McCain if Hillary is not the nominee.

This is not because working class whites are racist but because Obama represents a wing of the party which encourages the trashing of poor white people, lacks an economic focus for their needs, and excuses the racist and America-hating rants of Reverend Wright.

Obama's cold-hearted tacticians aren't using these tactics because they are concerned about the plight of African Americans. They are trying to scare superdelegates about racial issues and smear the Clintons.

Bill Ayers, Obama's friend and benefactor, was introduced to the public during Wednesday's Democratic debate, much to the chagrin of the Obama campaign and his supporters.

Let's get one thing out of the way: Ayers was not a radical; he is a domestic terrorist (Ayers once suggested that young people should "Bring the war home. Kill your parents."). There's a big distinction between having radical ideas and violent plans. Gloria Steinem, Tom Hayden, and Todd Gitlin were radicals. The desire to kill innocent Americans makes Ayers a terrorist.

ABC News is reporting that the prior statements of Barack Obama is which he denies having met with Iraqi-born billionaire, Nadhmi Auchi, contradicts the testimony of the federal government's star witness in the trial of indicted political fixer Tony Rezko.

The Obama campaign has maintained that Obama had no recollection of meeting Auchi "at any time or occasion," but today a Chicago Sun Times columnist reports that a source claims Obama had not only attended the April 2004 event but also "made a few toasts."

AND THIS IS THE MAN THAT WANTS TO "CHANGE AMERICA". He can't even be honest with the voters. Why is the Obama campaign having a representative sitting in on the trial and taking notes, does Obama have something to hide from the voters? apparently he does. In America we don't take a liking to people that lie and deceive in order to gain support.

As if Obama didn't have enough trouble with the 'Bitter and Gun Clinging" fiasco this week, he is now faced with some serious revelations that could potentially end his candidacy.

Indeed the case is very much about Mr. Obama.
The Chicago media have sold the nation the biggest pig-in-a-poke in recent political history. They have sold Obama as the great savior, the Teflon 'hope,' when Obama is merely just another glib Sammy Glick, who challenged the Chicago Democratic Machine until he got his own slice of the pie, and then quietly slept with Emil Jones and the other slimy machine hacks in The Party.
If there was such a tort (legal wrong) as journalistic malpractice, all of Chicago's media should be put on trial and charged with defrauding the American people about Barack Obama. They wanted him to win, because he was a good story, and a great local story, and they engineered his ascent while fully aware of the cancer behind the curtain.

"Obama recently went to the Tribune and Sun-Times and promised to make a clean breast of 'everything.' And he lied all over again. How did he just manage to forget he had been an ornament at a Rezko soiree at which the guest of honor was one of the richest men in the world?
