McCain is going to find a way to turn this whole financial thing around totally against us, isn't he?  He'll pretend to be mr. populist no bailout, while he winks and nods to his corporate overlords, and we'll be left holding the bag since we are the ones who have to find a responsible solution....

I doubt it. Obama just holds steady and puts through a serious plan while McCain gets hammered by all sides. Already started with conservatives questioning why in the fuck he namechecked Andrew Cuomo.

Re: Open Thread (2.00 / 1)

Great analogy. Particularly since the wingnuts were so eager to liken John McCain to Robert E Lee. Funnily enough, until this year, WE were Lee.

Obama moving staff from ND (none / 0)

to Minnesota and Wisconsin; it's getting to be crunch-time I suppose and it appears that the battleground has been set.  It's still a victory that we'll probably keep McCain from hitting 60% in ND.

Interesting that we aren't pulling staff from WV after the two recent polls; their internals probably don't show as close a race as those two polls or Obama and Biden would probably be making some appearances there soon but they probably don't show a blowout in the Mountaineer State as many would have thought at the beginning of the summer.

Now that Obama has bit the bullet on MN, will McCain swallow his pride with Indiana?

Re: Obama moving staff from ND (none / 0)

The North Dakota move is good. He should be doing similar in places like Georgia (send troops to NC and VA). West Virginia is interesting. He probably has a much better shot there than in North Dakota, but it's still not a tipping point state.

He's already pulled out of Georgia.  He remains in North Carolina however.

That video was both hilarious and (none / 0)

pathetic.  I'm so glad I'm not a Republican.
