More Thread, Plus A Little Stevie

Two items for pre-Labor Day lounging:

  • It appears McCain's people didn't fully vet Palin, neglecting to read through local newspaper clips from when she served as Mayor.

  • A little video I took of Stevie from Thursday night. Try and catch the enthusiastic Sign Language interpreter in the lower-right corner.

What are you grilling this weekend?

Re: More Thread, Plus A Little Stevie (none / 0)

There is a rumor going around the internets that Palin is really the grandmother of her latest child, and that her 17 year old unwed daughter is actually the mother.

I find it difficult to believe no one would have figured this out earlier, but why restrain myself when there is salacious gossip to be exchanged!  Desperate Housewives indeed.

Re: More Thread, Plus A Little Stevie (none / 0)

Of course someone would have noticed that the Governor wasn't pregnant and her daughter was.

It's virtually unheard of for a teenager to have a baby with Down Syndrome.  A 44 year old woman has a 1 in 20 chances, 5%.  A teenager has a >.00001 chance.

This has to be the dumbest of all the internet rumors about Palin.

Flowbee shouts (2.00 / 1)

For those of you still keeping tabs on Flowbee's descent into madness, here's some unintentional humor from today's front page:

  • "How Does Obama Attack a White Woman in the Post-OJ Era"
  • "I'm going to be blunt: John McCain respects women, Obama does not."

How does he expect to find a job other than flipping burgers after this?
I come here for the lulz.

Re: More Stupid polls and mooseburgers (none / 0)

Stupid CNN National poll has Obama up 1, post convention. Not buying it. Gallup has him up 6 and Rassmussen has him up 5.

Marinated organic free-range chicken tenders marinated for one hour in:

  • Tecate beer
  • Soy sauce
  • Montreal Chicken Seasoning
  • fresh ginger
  • fresh sage
  • fresh oregano
  • fresh thyme
  • fresh basil

And some fresh zucchini

God Bless Labor Day.

So what did they find on Palin?  What did the McCain staff overlook about her?

by SueBee on Mon Sep 01, 2008 at 02:29:34 AM EST

I'm hoping... (none / 0)

I'm hoping to see an ad soon focusing on McCain's judgment but having her in it as the main point. Like a "Now why exactly did John McCain choose Sarah Palin to be his vice president? It can't be because of her only 18 month as Governor..." or blah blah blah....so far they've handled it pretty delicately but when an unknown comes on, YOU want to be the first one to define them.

Re: I'm hoping... (none / 0)

Enough of this delicate stuff.  The Nation is at risk.  This election is to vital.  Any common sense person will look at her and say WTF she looks far from ready and If she was a Male with the same resume she would have NOT been picked.

But then a Senator with 3 years experience, (none / 0)

Who was not African American, wouldn't have been chosen either.  Hillary would be our nominee if the DNC and the MSM had not fallen in love with this unknown Black Senator.  Let's not forget that's what we will hear if we go down the road of gender politics.  They'll turn back to our guy's lack of experience and his race.

Inexperience on the top of the ticket? (none / 0)

Or on the bottom of the ticket?  Which do you think Americans will feel more comfortable with?  On the job training, or no training at all?

This 'lack of experience'  is a loser for us.  It only points out how little experience our guy has on the top of the ticket.
