Ludacris: Rev Wright mini me

"Hillary that Bitch is irrelevant." That's the new song dedicated to Obama along with a call to all black people to paint the white house black blah blah. Would not mean much by itself- But Barack called this man a big talent couple of years ago, when ludicrous was singing lyrics with N ( word), calling women bitches and hoes.  But wait in 2007 ludicrous held a fund raiser for Obama.

Now his communication guy came out strong against ludicrous and threw him under the bus for political expediency. But where was that outrage when he wanted his money and his election run was not on the line (the previous years)- while he praised him?

This is not the ONE we are all waiting for? or is it. I'm baffled at the associations in his life. Is there no keeping with class in whom we mingle with anymore?

Re: Ludacris: Rev Wright mini me (2.00 / 9)

First of all, please learn to construct a coherent sentence. You're right though, he was clearly praising Ludacris out of political expediency. No one has ever taken the White House without the treasured Ludacris demographic.

This is definitely in need of a shame rec, but I'm afraid my single recommendation would put it up on the list. So I dare not.

But go forth with the knowledge that you've written a diary so bewilderingly pathetic that it deserves a slew of shame recs. Such a pity I'm too cautious to give you one. However, thank you for your noble effort, and congratulations on your myriad accomplishments.

Re: Ludacris: Rev Wright mini me (2.00 / 2)

Let it go.. Ludacris is a rapper.. Why do you care? Our economy is in the crapper, 50 million people need healthcare, over 1000 vets are attempting suicide each month, 360,000 Americans are losing their homes everyday and our schools suck. Get over it or go complain to the rappers record company. Hit them where it hurts.
Here is the record label that he is with... Complain to them.

Okay (2.00 / 3)

This is priceless (as in unable to be assigned any value) other than this sentence, which is probably the single most unlikely sentence to have ever been spoken, and even then not in the last 100 years. But I googled it - all these myDD comments are searchable, in case anyone had forgotten.
Is there no keeping with class in whom we mingle with anymore?

Go ahead, tell me you've ever seen that sentence in the English language.

by Jeter on Thu Jul 31, 2008 at 12:59:09 AM EST

Re: Okay (2.00 / 3)

My eternal respect to the person who can unpack that sentence in a way that makes sense. Let's start by removing the prepositional phrases; we can come back to them. That leaves us with "Is there no keeping." Okay, slightly confusing, no object, but I can work with that. Without an object, the sentence seems to be asking whether there is any keeping of anything ever. But wait! Let's bring back the prepositional phrases to qualify the statement. "With class" is pretty straightforward, so now it is a question of whether anyone can keep anything with class. "in whom we mingle with" is slightly more confusing, because you have two prepositions with only one objects. You can't really do that. So we're dealing with either "with whom we mingle" or "in whom we mingle". "in whom we mingle" is a little disturbing, so I'm gonna go with "with whom we mingle". It is now a question of whether anyone can keep anything with which they mingle with class. Add in the anymore, and you're given a sense of nostalgia for a time when people could keep things with which they mingle with class. So, my simplified version of the question would be "Is there no keeping anything with which we mingle with class anymore?" What that means, I still haven't a goddamn clue.

You and I have an association (2.00 / 1)

about as close as Lud and BHO. I hope that I will not be judged by it.

P.S.
Black folks are as autonomous as white folks.Just as you are not responsible for the behavior of everyone on your I-Pod neither am I. Just 'cause Ludacris was in a room with BHO...oh forget it.

"Is there no keeping with class in whom we mingle with anymore?"

Says it all folks, in these words, you can find the meaning of life, who killed JFK, what that box was on GWB's back and where Osama bin Laden is hiding.....if only you could figure out what the hell it means.
