Obama Has Not Conceeded Indiana

On the rail this morning, I overheard someone making an analogy that to me was dead on. Please, no troll ratings. I have been trying to bring unity to the party but I need to share this analogy for those of you that see nothing wrong with what's going on right now.

Even though Hillary Clinton received more votes than Obama in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, Barack Obama has not yet conceded those elections. Until he does, Hillary is not the winner of those states.

Obama to concede for the results to become official.

Now, HRC is using the same strategy to keep the campaign going. Even though, Barack has won the nomination, it is not official until Hillary Clinton makes it so.

Go to YouTube and search for "Young Hillary Clinton" and watch the "Connect Four" section. It is happening right now.

Why are some of us pretending to live in an alternative universe?

Both Hillary and Obam gave great speeches at AIPAC today. Obama's speech was especially well received with several and continuous applause coming from those in attendance. They both did a great job at making strong and positive comments about each other but Hillary is still talking like a candidate for the nomination.

Is this good for the party or for Hillary? I'm conflicted.

One individual doesn't need to concede for the other won to win.

Give her some time. I'm an Obama supporter but I never expected Clinton to concede yesterday, why would she with such little time to think about her options?

Re: Obama Has Not Conceeded Indiana (none / 0)

So I can only say things that you like to hear? Sorry - it doesn't work like that. Tell me you don't think that HRC is at least acting relatively similar to this video? She lost and hasn't conceded. I have NEVER seen such a cocky person in my life, yet, she says she is doing it for the country? The video was made by people that feel she is acting in this manner. You have your opinion, I have mine. Sorry you can't deal with it "chaos."

Re: Obama Has Not Conceeded Indiana (none / 0)

your the Clinton hater, how can I have decent convo with you when your hate clouds your logic.

booohooo. Hillary "Santa Claus" Clinton didn't bring me my concession present last night. thats all I hear today. Well guesss what, if she was just trying to steal the spotlight, you talking about it makes it a successful ploy. Today instead of talking about Obama and rejoicing, you are spewing about Hillary. Mission Accomplished.

Re: Obama Has Not Conceeded Indiana (none / 0)

hah. all this talk about conceding is really counter-productive.

Re: Obama Has Not Conceeded Indiana (none / 0)

He congratulated her on her win in Indiana that same night in his NC victory speech. What else does he have to do to concede Indiana?

There is a winner (none / 0)

and a loser when the state certifies the election.

Re: Obama Has Not Conceeded Indiana (none / 0)

?

So if I don't conceded something that means the other person has not won?

Sweet, I'll remember that strategy, I'm sure my friend swill just love me for that.

But, seriously. Can you show me where it says officially that a candidate has to concede before the other person wins, state or overall primary?

Granted I haven't read the DNC bylaws on the primary THAT closely, but the perusing I did do didn't mention this at all.
