Interesting to see CNN's delegate count showing Barack Obama 4 delegates away from winning. The official Barack Obama count, via press release, shows him 8 delegates away from clinching.
On a somewhat separate topic, I'm intrigued by MSNBC's inclusion of the "popular vote so far (excluding Michigan)" among its graphics tonight. The tally there is 17,428,541 for Clinton and 17,425,810 for Obama, or Clinton ahead by fewer than 3,000 votes. I'd be curious to know where they're getting this number. Real Clear Politics lists the non-Michigan popular vote as Obama with 17,389,253 and Clinton with 17,364,667, or Obama up by almost 25,000. So it would appear that MSNBC intends to inject that metric into tonight's analysis, I'm curious whether Hillary Clinton does as well. Certainly she essentially declared a popular vote victory here in Puerto Rico on Sunday but will she do the same tonight?
