Hillary and Barack Campaigning Together Next Friday

I am working on getting further details but all the networks  are reporting that Obama and Clinton will do a joint campaign rally next Friday. What great news! I can't wait to see them together on the same stage and on the same team.

I am taking bets as to where they will campaign. See the poll below.

Poll
They will campaign in...
Michigan
Florida
Ohio
Pennsylvania
None of the above!

Re: Next Friday (1.00 / 2)

Hillary's quite the trooper to campaign for someone who refuses and rejects to name her VP.  She's used to be used and abused by men.

Re: Next Friday (2.00 / 2)

You got that right.

Barack Obama has courted my vote, taken my campaign money, and yet refuses to name me VP too.  I feel so dirty.

Do you think I should file domestic violence charges against him?

Re: Next Friday (2.00 / 1)

As a Hillary supporter first and an Obama supporter second, I say STOP. NOW.

Hell's bells, even the GOP didn't have to crucify Eisenhower's record in order to make Reagan their 'saint'. We can have two great ones, you know?

Good news (none / 0)

Maybe they can, with some smart speeches on offshore drilling, flip Florida together... or at least make McCain sweat and perhaps force him to take Crist as his running mate.

Re: Good news (2.00 / 2)

Placing information in the public view about how the oil companies already have leases on federal lands that they are not even attempting to use because they are enjoying the benefit of the high prices now is a help to the Democratic stance on the issue.  Also,  having the 'experts' place information out there about how long it will take for the any offshore leases to actualy produce , and still have no effect helps too.  Both are true, have been in the news lately, but I have no link, sorry.

Crist is a popular Governor here (after Jeb, Mr Peanut would have been an effective, popular Governor), however, the visual of two gray haried guys running for office together doesn't inspire confidence in the ticket.  My guess is it won't be Crist (gray haired like McCain, middle of the road GOP and unmarried with rumors about same .. not gonna happen folks).

Great to see Hillary and Obama together.  Perhaps he meant it when he said she's likeable enough!

Good point (2.00 / 1)

There's gonna be a lot of speculation on the VP candidate as usual; McCain almost has to pull a Mondale and swing for the fences with an off-the-wall choice to even have a chance (my bet was Sarah Palin, but apparently she doesn't want it).

It would also help to point out this Dept. of Energy report which concluded that additional drilling with only reduce the price of case by a few dollars/barrel--or a few cents per/gallon--by the yeat 2025.
