Jed Report completely nails it.

Jed Report put up a video that perfectly enunciates the sheer absurdity in the press's portrayal of McCain as a Straight-Talker and audacity of McCain's statement that he isn't like Bush at all.

Straight-Talking Express? I say Straight-Talking BS.

I didn't see this posted on MyDD yet, and I thought it was just a perfect juxtaposition showing the important differences between McCain and, um, McCain.

Edit: Digg it up if you like it. The more people who see this, the better. :)

John McCain is caught in a pincer.

He wants to reassure the Republican base that he's with them.

And he wants to convince the center that he's removed from the GOP.

But he's on video doing both. And you can't do that.

Not only is John McCain not a maverick. He's also a backstabber to the GOP.

That's why only 52% of Republicans are satisfied with him as the nominee. But it's also why Americans are going to see him as Bush III.
