Let me pull out my dry-erase board... (2.00 / 1)

...And write, "Heaven, Heaven, Heaven," because we know that's where Tim Russert is right now.

Re: Rest In Peace Tim Russert (2.00 / 2)

I didn't always like what he said but he had a wonderful broadcasting style which I admired & his predictions were often right on (he predicted FL being the key state in Gore v Bush as well as OH being it last time around).

I am shocked..I also didn't realize he was 58 either.

I think his father is still alive (2.00 / 2)

He talks about "Big Russ" on occasion... and there was that funny moment where Terry McAluffe talked about his dad watching him from heaven, and Tim said, "he's watching from ahis barka-lounger back home."

I sometimes didn't approve of Russert's tactics, but he always tried to keep us honest.

I am just in shock.  He was my go-to person for political analysis.

I just can't believe it.

This is very sad (2.00 / 2)

My thoughts and prays goes out to his family and friends. I've watched MTP since I was a pre-teen, and this is a complete shock.

Poor old Timmer. RIP. We'll miss him. I didn't like his partisanship sometimes but on the whole he used press for answers.

Ret in Peace Tim (none / 0)

Great loss.  He seemed like a straight shooter and a genuinely good guy.
