it actually sounds like fun.-----*
but RP'ers are a unique breed I am trying to disengage from their chat room still by being polite.
They might be interesting to talk to. They don't ban you if you come to have serious policy discussions?
This is great, though. I hope Ron Paul creates a mess (even if it's not a big one -- anything would be good), and we should definitely raise awareness for it. Tweety mentioned it on Hardball (either today or yesterday, I can't remember). I'm so glad he isn't endorsing John McCain. Here's hoping he endorses Barr! By the way, do the Paulbots seem to like Barr?
RonPaulchat.net
The are brutal they insist the Fed is illegal, income taxes are illegal, but I got the info out of them and this batch hated Bob Barr...
...when I was in an accounting department I had to deal with someone like that. A salesman wanted us not to deduct his Soc Security tax as it was "voluntary". Ended up that we had to have a meeting with him and the CFO. what fun that was
because they are trying to change your mind (just be polite) and sign you up for their pyramid news scheme called pyrabang.
I will be doing some coverage of it and hopefully can use my connections to get it into a traditional media source.
I told you about them, say you found them on google.
I go my the name Guy le Douche there (from MXC...)
Have fun and don't say I didn't warn you about their link flooding (I claimed not to have audio so I didn't have to watch their videos...)
I think I'll head over there tomorrow night.
Mojo for the MXC referrence. I, myself, prefer a campaign of saturating bombing over at the various repub sites with videos letting them know what it is specifically that makes them a flaming bucket of douchebags.
TR me again for no spell check and poor grammar...sigh /fail.
In the words of Molly Bloom in James Joyce's Ulysses: Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes,Yes,Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes, Yes, (etc.)
my senior year of undergrad in the spring and oy... Molly's narration drove me crazy. I like capitalization and punctuation.
Operation Chaos is a myth. I doubt it accounted for 100,000 votes nationwide. I know Rush has influence over his listeners but it's too much trouble to change registration, vote Dem, and then change back. Even in the states with open primaries I can't imagine many people would bother. Personally I believe that Limbaugh and his ilk are a spent force. He has lost about 8 million listeners from his Clinton era peak. Without a bogeyman, Republicans are toothless. Obama as a bogeyman won't wash. They'll be branded as racists.
Morning SG.
It's good to see you doing the morning rounds with me.
yeah I've hit every one of his posts as he is a sock puppet.
I'm voting Obama!
Operation Fauxtard.
I likee.
I can't count the number of obviously confused folks I've talked to who've said "I'm for Ron Paul and if not him, Obama".
I know, I know, it makes no damn sense. But I've heard it enough to wonder if a serious Ron Paul third party run could pull as much from Obama as McCain. (in either case nothing significant)
I think these are people who reject political labels and are drawn only to the guy who seems "different" and rebellious to them.
Just thought I'd mention it.
Ron Paul Girl did say that if Ron Paul wasn't nominated, she would be something-something-girling for Obama, didn't she?
thinks it makes as much sense as "Hillary or McCain"
it probably has more to do with the war than anything else. Disaffected Republicans who oppose the war are looking for a candidate who opposes the war. They see Ron Paul and Barack Obama as the two candidates who opposed it from day one and thus, in their minds, have the best judgement on it.
They're not looking at anything else.
