Oguama

It's official, folks. Barack Obama has won Guam by the 7 votes decided last week.

http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0 508/Guam_certifies.html

The only reason this matters is that Obama now picks up another superdelegate. Pilar Lujan pledged to go with the popular winner in Guam. And that is Barack Obama.

So, today, Barack Obama has picked up:
Peter DeFazio (OR)
John Gage (MD)
Ed Espinoza (CA)
Donald Payne (NJ), which is a loss for Clinton
Pilar Lujan (Guam)

Clinton picks up:
Chris Carney

Obama has netted 5 superdelegates today.

Re: Wasn't Chris Carney yesterday? (none / 0)

He is from PA.  He said he went with Hillary because she won his district.

No. (none / 0)

The "NC guy" was Rep. Heath Shuler.

Wouldn't it be nice if there were no rhetorical questions?

Re: Oguama (2.00 / 1)

Wasn't he projected to win Guam by 11 percentage points?  What happened?

Re: Oguama (none / 0)

Everyone who supported Hillary here on MyDD said that Hillary would wipe the floor with Obama in Quam.  LOL.

Re: she did (none / 0)

I'd love to see you predict an election with no polling data 2 months prior, on an island several thousand miles away from the mainland.

Seriously, how many American's could even locate Guam?

Great Tuna Salad Sandwich (none / 0)

Ingredients:
Canned tuna
Mayonnaise
Pickle Relish
Celery
Onions
Alfalfa Sprouts

Drain the tuna and mix with mayonnaise, pickle relish, chopped celery and onions.  Slice pita bread in half and open a pocket in each half.  Slightly warm the pita bread in microwave (10 secs).  Stuff with the tuna mixture, top with (rinsed and dried) alfalfa sprouts and potato chips.

I'm disappointed you aren't serving that with pretzels.  I so wanted to yell "THESE PRETZELS ARE MAKIN' ME THIRSTY!"

"Oguama" (none / 0)

Awesome name.

One reason Obama needs to be president is because his name can be fused to anything.

Re: "Oguama" (none / 0)

Hmm... If he used his win as a talking point, it would be "Guammunition."
