Remember MI and FL - NEVER FORGET

Is Hillary out?

Who knows.  But I will tell you one thing: I will never EVER forget what Obama did with regard to Michigan and Florida.  He stole this nomination, and as far as I'm concerned is no better than Bush in 2000.

At least Bush is honest about it, he's a rethug and he admits it.  Obama?  He's a wolf in sheep's clothing, spreading the gospel of progressiveness while disenfranchising millions of voters, democratic voters.

This is totally unacceptable.

So write your 'healing' diaries, Obamatons.  Act all gracious, wonder out loud how we can be so 'polarizing' in this your hour of victory.  Wonder why we can't just 'come together'...Well guess what?  I've been called a republican by you classless losers hundreds of times these past couple of months.  So now you want my vote?

Now you want to bury the hatchet?

I don't buy it.  I know what your candidate is.  He is a chicago styled thug Daleyite.  Obama is all that is wrong with this party.

From disenfranchising Florida to bullying undemocratic tactics during each caucus to lying about Hillary to race baiting to dishonestly calling Hillary a racist to misogynistic remarks etc etc and so on so on and so on...(there are really too many to note here)

I say it now.

I will NEVER vote for him.

Kiss my butt.

Michigan and Florida are going to be sat.  They moved up illegally and had to sweat it out, but should be thankful they are going to get sat - most likely as they voted.

I held my nose for Kerry "for the good of the party" and regreted it. I do not plan to do the same this time. The Democratic party has been screwing up for years now. I do not plan to vote for McCain, I plan not to vote. Maybe this will get the party to finally clean up their act if more people either become independents or sit this one out.

Re: Remember MI and FL - NEVER FORGET (none / 0)

If McCain wins in November, there likely won't be much of the country left to preside over once the Democratic party "cleans up its act..."

McCain would be a fast-motion train-wreck... as opposed to the slow motion by comparison Bush administration.

Personally, I am voting Dem regardless, so I'm not going to blame anyone... except McCain... I blame him for the time of day if it is not to my liking....

Re: Remember MI and FL - NEVER FORGET (none / 0)

No, as a former Floridian who was there while this whole sorted thing happened, I put the blame squarely where it belongs... on the people that made the decision to calls the DNC's bluff after they told them what would happen.

I also don't blame the Democratic voters in both states who did not pay for sitters or take time off from work to vote.  They were told it would not count.

But, if you want to blame anyone for the situation Hillary is in currently, you have o blame the voters.  They put Obama where he is and they put her where she is....

Not voting = voting for McCain (none / 0)

It might make you feel better to embrace a false distinction, but that distinction does not do the rest of the country any good.

I would like to think that you would place the good of the country over a misplaced, even if understandable, anger.  Anger is not inherently justified; it must serve some purpose, I believe.

You realize that Florida and Michigan were originally disenfranchised by Clinton herself, and 2 of her campaign members on the rules committee.  Not to mention that you can GIVE Clinton the delegates and votes... she still loses!

That deal is in the works.  She will probably get proportional representation based on her "win" in Florida, and they will split the Michigan delegates down the middle.  You can't say that's not fair.

You are better than that (none / 0)

I know you are intelligent because you are a supporter of Sen. Clinton.  I have to assume you understood my point, but let me walk you through the logic step by step.

*Democrats vote for Democratic candidates.
*Diarist says will not vote for the near-certain Democratic nominee.
*Diarist is not a Democrat.

At least not today given the content of the diary, hence "goodbye".  Even if the disaster claims about Sen. Obama are true, Democrats will stick with him and join in the struggle to hold back the forces of GOPer darkness.  I am sad the diarist is not up to joining the struggle but I hope that you are.  One reason I warmed to Sen. Clinton was that she is a fighter who does not quit the struggle to improve our country.  I hope most of her supporters will follow her example.

I deserve better than that... (none / 0)

I cannot support Obama due to Revenend Wright. I cannot support a person with a 20 year relationship with a crazy "mentor."
Rev. Wright is Pro-Farrakhan, believes the U.S. gave aids to AA, believes the U.S. deserved 9/11 and Damns America. This goes against my values. Now some say "Wright is not Obama." I say if Obama supported a guy like this for 20 years, he lacks good judgment.

Fair enough (none / 0)

Like you I would not vote for Rev. Wright if he was running for President.  But what I think we have as evidence is that, at most, Sen. Obama was comfortable maintaining a relationship with someone who holds these views.  No one has demonstrated Obama himself holds these views.  His record and statements suggest - no demonstrate - he does not.

Even if Sen. Obama's association demonstrated a lack of judgment to the degree you suggest, do you believe Mr. 100 Years and 'I know nothing about economics' exercises better judgment?

Does abandoning Obama in favor of McCain or not voting improve Obama's judgment?  I am afraid I am missing something here.

Guess where.

IF you are not in fact a republican then you are in fact in need of counseling~ here's why,

I have read most of your hate-filled, angry diatribes in various diaries, you seem easy to insult and very rarely are your thoughts based on any cited facts~ so I can only assume that you are in need of counseling because if you did have some real gripe about Obama or Hillary then I would like to hear it, because you have done nothing, that's all, just "nothing."
